    ^^i love that movie.

I watched Enough Said. James Gandolfini, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Toni Colette, Catherine Keener, etc. I loved it. It made me laugh out loud and I thought the chemistry between JG and JLD was amazing.

my favourites are still steve martin as the sadistic dentist and bill murray as the masochist patient. genius.
In the original it's Jack Nicholson as the masochist dentist patient. I couldn't believe that it was him.

    Snow Falling on Cedars...boring.
The original Poseidon Adventure...they might have CGI these days, but the characters and strong performances, especially by Shelley Winters and Ernest Borgnine, make this one of the best disaster movies evah...

    Jaws 2

The scene with the helicopter freaks me out every time I see it.

i'm shaming myself. i watched a movie on Hallmark Channel called William and Kate A Royal Romance.

Now, i love to watch anything about the Royal Family, but OOOMMMMGGGGG this was the worst movie i've ever seen. The actors were a joke NONE of them could act.

and at the end, they told of how they got engaged, i laughed (and i doubt thats what the goal was) horrific

Captain Phillips. I love Tom Hanks but the movie could've been shorter. It felt dragged out.

Divergent. Enjoyed the book, not so much the movie.

The Heat. I watched the clean version (edited version on my flight home from vacay) - I'm sure the dirtier version is funnier. It was stupid-funny.

May. What happened to Angela Bettis? She's great in this.

Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. Good grief, Hayden Christensen was more wooden than The Mayflower. Portman and the OTT soundtrack blow too.

Hanna. Cute film. Saoirse Ronan's probably the pick of child actors of the last decade - consistently puts out very good performances.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Really poor reprisal of the TV series, and so slow-moving.

    Captain America The Winter Soldier

I liked it. Wished I'd caught it at a cinema. Kinda better than the first Cpt America film. Scarlet looked strange, too tanned in some parts and it distracted from the film. I did like her performance but I think it might have been a bit better in The Avengers even though it was a smaller part. I didn't doze off but in some bits I got confused. The Winter Soldier guy was hott as hell. Liked him with the long hair, he looked like a member of some goth band. Chris Evans is sort of meh to me. I can see that he's an objectively attractive guy but he doesn't do it for me as the Cap.
What if Superman is psychotic and everyone can see that he's Clark Kent but they just play along not to set him off?

Caught Captain America: Winter Soldier at the cinema a while back, I absolutely loved it. Much better than the first one, I tried watching the first one I just couldn't get into it. Excited for the Avengers 2!!

Finally saw Michael Fassbender's movie Shame. I found it really depressing and bleak to watch. Felt really sad for Sissy and Brandon because they were so damaged by their childhoods and they didn't know how to break the cycle they were stuck in. Their childhood is the reason why both of them struggle to connect with people emotionally, form romantic relationships and maintain them. Michael was incredible as Brandon! Carey Mulligan was great. It did drag in places. I did like how thought provoking it was to watch. It was a lot to take in.

That Awkward Moment was shit. Period. Not worth watching at all. Had the potential to be a good comedy but the storyline crashed and burned before you get to the end of the movie.

Crazy, Stupid, Love - It really dragged in the final act. Other than that I enjoyed it. Ryan Gosling was working the shit out of those suits in the movie.

Purge Anarchy was better than the first. Aside from Frank Grillo, the supporting cast were weak and forgettable. They were playing stereotypes and the back stories aren't set up very well that you don't want root for them or care for them. I only seemed to connect to Leo Barnes's character. The storyline wasn't very clear and concise because it was supposed to revolve around a couple when in fact it's three interconnecting stories. It is well worth watching for Frank Grillo! Boy, is he a tall, dark drink of handsome lol. He is so effing badass though. There is a social commentary to it, it doesn't go beneath the surface and only scrapes the surface. Movie plays it too safe in that respect. The foundation is there for a good, smart movie that really makes you think. There is room for improvement for the third.

I really want to see Chef.
