I wish they could have had a few more shirtless scenes, or an extra abs shot here or there...lol

    reaching for the moon

thoroughly enjoyable movie about poet elizabeth bishop's time in brazil with her lover, architect lota de macedo soares (designer of flamengo park in rio de janeiro). beautifully filmed, incredible settings (lovers of midcentury architecture and furniture will LOVE this), perfectly captures those tumultuous but artistically rich years in brazilian history. the script isn't perfect and the directing is a bit clunky at times but you only realise the movie's flaws after you've left, when you're watching it you're enjoying every minute, partly because both women had such interesting lives and were pioneers in many ways, it just makes for a great story. and the performances by miranda otto (as bishop) and gloria pires (as lota) are fantastic, especially miranda otto who is just perfect.

    Red 2

Action film with Bruce Willis. It was terrible.

    Jaws

Still, IMHO, one of the best movies EVER made!

    Thor: The Dark World
I loved it. I really liked how Loki was more trickster in it and made some laughable remarks at Thor. It was very enjoyable.

I finally watched Shutter Island. It was good, but I had already heard about the twist. Inception and The Departed are better in my opinion. I love Taxi Driver. De Niro and Scorsese were a good team.

I haven't seen the first one so I don't know how this compares. The boyfriend had seen it and I think he liked the second one so you'll probably like it.

'Beetlejuice' It's genuinely scary to think of death being so weighed down by beaurocratic red tape.

Just watched Man of Steel on PPV. Henry Cavill looked good even in the Clark Kent 50s glasses! Movie was ok. Son liked it more than I did.

Wicker Park with Josh Hartnett and Diane Kruger. Having a hard time following it. Josh was kind of cute, but wooden acting for real.
