Saw escape plan today with Stallone and Arnie, went into the movie a bit ehhh.. thought they were too old for these kind of roles but I actually really liked the film! was like watching prison break all over again

The Counselor. Ugh. Probably the worst movie I've seen in years. I've never given much thought to Cameron Diaz one way or the other, but Good Lord she was horrible in this movie. I can't even list all the reasons this movie sucked...there's too many!

    Of Mice and Men

Lon Chaney, Jr. was perfect. "Look George!"

Cloud Atlas - holey moley is that a mess of a film. Which figures because it was made by the Wachowski's. I think they have something like 6 historical storylines going simultaneously, even though each one precedes/succeeds the next. And most of the actors are playing multiple characters. And Tom Hanks is great in it except for playing a post-apocalyptic tribesman.

I'm pretty sure this whole sequence was based on "Of Mice and Men". The big goofy cat keeps calling Sylvester "George" and is obsessed with Sylvester/George catching him a rabbit so that he can "hug him and squeeze him"

Has anyone seen the documentary "Rebirth"? It's about victims of 9/11 and how they cope on every anniversary up until 2009. It's amazing.

White House Down. we have 'date night' every Saturday. Since i am tired after work, we just stay in and watch movies.
I mocked this before i really saw it, but honestly it wasn't so bad. The acting was horrible, but it was watchable. Not too bad.

Last Vegas, with Kevin Klein, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas and Mary Steenburgen .

It wasn't bad. Funny in some parts. It was almost like it could have been The Hangover, Part 50.

It was distracting and disturbing to see how horrible Douglas looked compared to the other men who don't seem to have had any work done on their faces. Steenburgen looked just as bad as Douglas.

About time, new Curtis movie (the guy who directed Four weddings ...)
Liked it a lot, although it wasn't exactly what I had expected (not quite so funny) but the father / son relation was beautifully written and I love Bill Nighy !

Two For the Road with Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney. Very adult and sophisticated for its time. Made after the end of that awful, restrictive and castrating Production Code, so the characters could be more free about their sexuality.

my expectations going in were low as this was directed by and starred Sean Paul Lockhart aka Brent Corrigan

It came off very cheesy and the acting was really bad at times.

Lockhart should stick to being Brent Corrigan and never try to act/direct in an actual movie again.

A man is out to kill a person he swore on his best friend's death bed to protect. Chris Jensen (Jack Brockett) is torn between his allegiance to his fallen friend, Tyler Townsend (Addison Graham), who died in Afghanistan and Tyler's half sister who hires Chris to kill her late brother's gay lover. The lover, Andrew Warner (Sean Paul Lockhart), stands to inherit half of the families multi- million dollar company left to him by Tyler. Tyler's half sister Jackie Tonwsend (Laura Reilly) has other plans for the young and unassuming Andrew. All goes to plan even though Chris has fallen in love with the young Andrew. Andrew grows suspicious, the plan is reveled and it's every man and woman for themselves. A fortune will go to the last one standing.

We went and watched Thor on Friday night. I really enjoyed the movie, and Loki's performance in it was great!!! Thor could have been shirtless a few more times in it for my taste,...but I will still buy it. Hell,...I would buy anything that man would try selling me....lol

I also watched The Great Gatsby at home over the weekend. I enjoyed it. The book was better, but that is how it is with most book to movies.

Oh,...and I finally took the time to watch Iron Man 3. It was okay,....I like the IM movies, but they are not my favorite. And I hate Gwyneth Paltrow.

World War Z would have been much better if Brad Pit didn't have the lead role. Otherwise I enjoyed it even though most were critical of the film.

Saw Thor 2 in Imax. Loved it. Hemsworth shirtless in Imax was worth it to me.
