LOVED that.
    The book series is awesome.

I want to see this! I didn't know it was out yet.

We saw "The Shallows". First time hubs & I have seen a movie together at the theater in 7 years.

It sucked. I had free passes, thankfully we didn't pay to see that shit.

Eye in the Sky- Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman.

A tight little drama about drone ops, and collateral damage. I liked it a lot.

Tarzan. I enjoyed this one too. I could look at Skarsgard all damn day long.
My son wants to go see the Purge next weekend with the free movie tickets I won at work. The previews look like some good mindless shoot-em-up that we'd enjoy, but I've never seen (or even heard of) the previous movies. Can we see it as a standalone movie or would we be lost?

Forget the Tarzan nonsense. No one wants to see that POS.

You can jump right in. They explain it at the beginning.

Tarzan really was pretty good. Better than I expected.

As for Deb's outfit.. I honestly think that's all part of Melody's appeal. Had she worn anything else, it wouldn't be Melody. imo
Hey, while I was driving to the gym this morning, there was a story on the radio saying that The Warriors is being made into some kind of TV series on Hulu. And it's being done by the producer of Captain America, so there will at least be a decent budget associated with it.

That sucks because the preview in the movie theater looked good.

The Purge Election Year. I enjoyed it and Frank Grillo is so good to look at. LOL It makes you think, though. What would you do if purge night was real?

Finding Dory. Beautiful animation and a cute story.

Ed O'Neill as the voice of the Octopus is hilarious.

I have to admit, we were kind of shocked to find that O'Neill had been the voice of the octopus, who was a great character in the movie. Great voiceover work by O'Neill. While I think that "Finding Nemo" is kind of a modern masterpiece in its genre, this movie wasn't quite as good. But still very enjoyable, and I am like the world's most emotional person, so I got a little chocked up during the climax. This looks like a monster hit for Disney, too. Cost about $200 Million to make and had already made $389 Million (in the US alone) by last weekend.

There were a few things that I was struggling to suspend my disbelief for, but I could have done it if not for the lazy ending, that no way in hell could I forgive that shit. The ending ruined the movie beyond salvation for me (& my husband).

I'll probably get reamed for this, but I thought Blake Lively did a very good job acting in this.

An Officer and a Gentleman...made me fall in love with Debra Winger. This movie, Urban Cowboy and Terms of Endearment made her white-hot. But she wasn't having any of it. But the ending is so old-fashioned and endearingly corny, I can't resist it. I first saw it at a base movie theatre in Yokosuka, Japan in 83, about a year after it came out. And after all of the insanity of the past 24 hours, I sure needed a feel-good movie.
