there may be a reason for that. Jennifer Hudsons hub David Otunga (a professional wrestler for WWE) is the director of the movie. (finally, my Wrestling fantardness can be used for good and not evil)

Haunter, starring Abigail Breslin. I saw it at SXSW so I don't know if it has a release date yet or if it's even been picked up for distribution. It was okay, had sort of an American Horror Story vibe to it (but a much subtler tone).

    The Princess Bride

I'd never seen it before. Liked it a lot. Can't really see why it got such a huge cult status in the US but it's a sweet little movie.
What if Superman is psychotic and everyone can see that he's Clark Kent but they just play along not to set him off?

Wreck-It Ralph. Rented it last Friday and bought it Saturday. As soon as he started talking I said "That's that curly-haired bastard from Step Brothers"... it was but it was still a cute movie!

I think you have to watch it a couple of times to get the "cult status". At least I did. Every time I watch it, I like it a little bit more.

I almost picked up The Princess Bride in the Walmart $5 bin the other day. I have never watched the movie, either. I may see if it is still there when I go back tomorrow. Even my 14 year old has heard it is a great movie from her friends, and she wants to see it, too.

Bel Ami, with Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, and Kristen Scott-Thomas.

Jesse fucking christ this movie is AWFUL. What were these people thinking? I can see where RPatz might have some appeal as the romantic lead in a period piece but his character was such an unregenerate loser I couldn't even finish the thing.

Oz the Great and Powerful. I enjoyed it. Franco looked damn tapable. Now I just want them to adapt Wicked to the big screen.

Mrs. Mohandas and kids are supposed to see it tonight. And if I get home on time, they'll want me to go, too. But from the commercials it really doesn't look appealing to me. It looks like green-screen overload. It might be worth it to get some super buttery popcorn, though. Mr. Moviefone's review on HLN cracked me up, with him saying how badly miscast Franco was and then referring to Mila Kunis and her "dead eyes".

How is it as a video game retrospective? If you played video games in the 1980's and 1990's, do they use a lot of those characters?

I think its status among kids is that it is the typically romantic movie with an adventurous prince, but a more independent bride than in the traditional fairy tales. For adults, I think a lot of the appeal is the one liners by Wallace Shawn, Billy Crystal and Carol Kane. "Have fun storming the castle!" "Truly you have a dizzying intellect." "Watch - I'm just getting started." "Never bet on a Sicilian when there is money on the line." "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." and on and on....

Mo-see Wreck-It Ralph. Cute overload with adult jokes as most cartoon movies do. You might enjoy Oz. It is beautiful to look at and I thought Franco was good in this role plus Zach Braff's character was great comic relief.

Braff is in there? I like him. And I might watch it just for Mila and her "dead eyes".

Mila's make up was a little on the too CGI side I'll admit but I did like the story.

It certainly kept me guessing. I think the moment it really won me over was when Buttercup finally realised that the masked man was Wesley after she had pushed him off a cliff and she started tumbling down the cliff after him. And pretty much every scene with Inigo Montoya, Mandy Patinkin was superhot then!

Saw Due Date. Not bad but some moments were really overdone. And Planes, Trains & Automobiles was funnier.
