'Paranormal Activity'. Really boring. I hated it.

I haven't seen Vincent and theo but always heard mixed reviews about it, some very bad.
and I like Robert Altman as much as any other film snob but I'll be the first to admit the man made some serious duds along the way too.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 (yeah I know, only a year behind - I waited til it was on TV). It was shit, but KStew actually looked really pretty throughout.

The Rise of the Guardians. I liked it and my niece and nephew kid approved it as well.

"Point Break". Boy, was that awful. However, it was great to see the old Gary Busey before he went completely bonkers. And the old Tom Sizemore, before he went completely bonkers. And Lori Petty looked pretty hot.

Truly a guilty pleasure. It reminds me of The Long Kiss Goodnight - totally preposterous plotline, but saved by great direction, lots of energy and a decent supporting cast.

Visually, it was very appealing. You have to suspend a lot of disbelief, though.

Haha, yeah, I liked it too. Tom "Porn Name" Sizemore was an interesting character actor once upon a time. Busey was good in the Buddy Holly flick too, though the big irony is, Buddy was MUCH better-looking.

I saw Twilight on TV recently and it is no coincidence that I felt a deep need to read some Charles Dickens and Van Gogh's letters directly afterward. I could literally feel my IQ rebounding.

Now they're apparently going to throw the sequel at me. Urp. I can't cope with gross pseudo-pregnancy imagery. I KNOW it will remind me of "Alien". Not good.

I watched Bernie with Jack Black, Shirley MacLaine and Matthew McConaughey. I love Richard Linklater, but this movie was off. Maybe it was because Jack Black always seems like he's acting in a high school play. I didn't realize it was even based on a true story until I strangely happened on the same day to see something about it on TV.

In Part 1? With the pregnancy that destroyed her?

I watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (with Noomi Repace) last night. It was really excellent and Noomi was awesome.

The last one is one I missed in first go round a lotta years ago. "Ladies and Gentlemen: The Fabulous Stains."
