I just watched a wee special on the latest Batman movie and in all of the clips they showed of Bane, he sounded so much better, absolutely clear as a whistle and also kind of quieter and more intimidating. I'm wondering if it's just the ultra-loud sounds in the cinema that make his voice sound distorted.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It was great. Good story, great acting, well put together.

I just watch Silent Hill (2006) for the first time. Nice movie, I like mystery and weird history stories. Although, looks to me like the script wasn't written fully or something. I didn't get why after Alessa got her revenge, and that was supposed to be the closer, still when Rose and good Alessa came back home they were in alternative reality and not in Chris' reality.

I liked it a lot, though the princess really is unsufferable, I loved the story.

Magic Mike

I went in without any expectations. I'd read nothing about the film, didn't even know it was about male stripping. It was really good, I was just uncomfortable about watching it with my 65 year old aunt in a cinema pretty much full of old ladies (it's an open air cinema near to our house and a lot of people just go there to enjoy a cool night out, sometimes by themselves) Awkward!

A lot of nudity, sex scenes and cursing but all done rather tastefully. Actually some scenes from the stripping were downright hilarious and Channing Tatum (or his stunt double) had some great moves. I've only seen him on 21 Jump Street and liked him a lot there too.
