It was pretty good, but kind of weird. I'm not a real big fan of Tarentino anyway.
I know I've said this before, but that cafe scene with Fassbender, Til Schweiger, and Diane Kruger totally rocked.

And Christoph Walz was amazing. I've never been so tense just watching someone eat dessert.

the dictator. retarded but with some great moments where you can't help but laugh your ass off.
I hate anna faris though. she's not funny and her face annoys me.

Bajo la Sal , a Mexican murder mystery. Really good, but could have been shortened a bit.

I watched Play Misty For Me for the first time last night. What a great fucking movie! Lucille Bluth was so great and Clint was a sexy bitch. I did keep thinking he was way too nice to her in the movie. I would have let the crazy bitch slit her wrists

Attack the Block. I watched it a second time with the subtitles. I thought it was scary enough but wanted it to be funnier. The kids were great !

Mirror, Mirror. Needed to see Armie Hammer on a big screen. Dragged a colleague with me on one of the hottest days of the year, teehee. I thought it would be utter trite but, apart from some seriously cringey moments, it was actually quite enjoyable and fun. My love for Armie Hammer is now cemented.

    Snow White and the Huntsmen.

Fairly pissed off that the first time I'm the first one in the theatre after being one of those d-bags that shows up an hour beforehand, it's to see this drivel. Pros: Charlize is fantastically over the top and looks stunning. The style of the sets and all that is pretty cool.
Cons: I tried, I really did, I just can't stand Kristen Stewart's acting. She can't carry this movie.

Oh God, you're right. He deserves his own post. I never noticed him before this year, but between The Avengers and Snow White, I am now in the mood for more rugged Aussie goodness. Fuck pretty boys! *cough* Pattinson.

And Chris was great in the movie, especially with what he had to play against. I liked him a lot. His role at least had a bit of depth to it and there was a tiny twist. Just wish him and Charlize would have had another scene or two.......or whole movie.

I loved Snow White and the Huntsman!! Chris and Charlize were great in the movie!!! Kristen does bug the shit out of me,...but most of the time in this movie, I didn't mind her. That being said,...I can't stand how big her front two teeth look though,...very distracting. And then that thing she does with her mouth when she tries to emite any emotion. Ugg!!

    moonrise kingdom.
great film. so beautiful and sweet (without being twee or annoying) and has all the good stuff from wes anderson's past films but none of the indulgence that i know annoys a lot of people about some of his stuff. bill murray is his usual amazing self but there is also a particularly poignant performance by bruce willis and frances mcdormand is wonderful, as are the kids.

it's a little gem of a film. can't recommend it enough.

We also watched Contraband, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and Gone over the weekend. I enjoyed all three movies, for a change.

'Never Let Me Go' with Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley. Such a disturbing concept, I lay awake for hours after I watched it going over and over everything that happened before and after the main plot is revealed (I don't want to give away spoilers). I wished they would have tried to fight to save themselves but I guess that wasn't the point. Excellent movie but icant say I enjoyed it.
