    Black Swan (on Netflix)

I didn't think it was as great as a lot of folks at IMDB seemed to think, but it was pretty good. I actually sat and watched it and didn't do other things (which I usually do when I 'watch' a movie).

Watching Rocky Horror Picture Show right now. I fucking love this movie with a passion. And I'm always shocked at how hot Tim Curry looks in drag.

Saw Paranormal Activity 3 last week. Apart from the ending, it was a decent movie. For some reason, I was laughing through a lot of movie. LOL, our group was pretty loud.

my daughter and hub saw Paranormal Activity 3. They hated it. Said it wasn't scary at all. And the worst part was, the parts they showed in commercials, weren't even in the movie.

It startled me in a lot of parts, but it didn't leave much of an impact on me. I haven't seen the other two films, but I'd assume they are better?

I thought the first one was really boring. I couldn't even get through the entire movie. I have zero desire to see the other two. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Melancholia - new film by Lars von Trier about Earth's impending collision with a stray planet, seen through the eyes of an upper-class North American family. Kirsten Dunst, Alexander Skarsgard (still don't get the fascination, but ok), Kiefer Sutherland and Charlotte Gainsbourg. I love apocalyptic movies usually; I don't know what I was expecting, but it's awfully talky.

I cannot believe I'm admitting this but I needed some mindless movie going while I decorated 147 Halloween cookies tonight. My husband cancelled streaming from Netflix and forgot to tell me so I was limited to my DVR. So, now you'll understand why I watched "The Switch" with Justin Bateman and Jennifer Aniston. It was predictable from start to end. Jennifer Aniston was Rachel (again). But damn, Justin Bateman and the little kid were likeable. It's basically a Lifetime movie that you don't have to pay much attention to.

I guess I don't need to tell you folks how I'm spending my Halloween weekend. And, no, I'm not going to say anything about the above movies. There isn't anything recent listed, so I imagine most people are already familiar with them.

The Road. What a depressing load of dross. It just wasn't my kind of film.

Saw The Switch and The Road this summer. The latter was interesting, if depressing. The first was so dull and only strengthens my dislike of Aniston on the big screen.

OMG I thought you meant Don't look now and I couldn't believe you didn't like it. It's such a spooky, classic thriller!

Dead & Breakfast. Wretched. So bad it doesn't even have a camp factor.
