    Cool

    Boogie Nights

Mark Wahlberg was so awesome in this movie! One of the best soundtracks to any movie ever!

I see you are in Canada (me too), so I will add that it premiered on TMN last night. They'll probably be repeating it now with increasing regularity, so you should be able to catch it fairly soon.
wow, you must be tough, i thought it was scary as hell.
not-really-but-maybe-kind-of-SPOILER: after seeing poltergeist for the first time after insidious, i don't think it's that great anymore.

That movie is just okay, too. Frankly, I never found it particularly scary either. I feel the same about The Exorcist. Highly overrated!

"The Killer Inside Me". I don't want to give anything away, but the scenes where the women were killed, particularly the one at the end, were horrific. On top of that, to do it to someone who loves you unconditionally and has no idea what's coming was incredibly sad and depressing. Hated it.

Horrible Bosses. I wasn't paying that much attention to it, but it was pretty funny. I love Charlie Day.

Bad Teacher. I thought it was hilarious, even though some jokes fell flat. I really want Justin Timberlake to go away.

i liked it but HATED owen in that role. i was having a hard time with his hammy 'aw shucks' acting. but i liked the rest of it very much.

watched Oliver Stone's Alexander this weekend

my god this movie coulda been so great but ended up a complete fucking mess.

for starters Angelina Jolie annoys me as Olympias with what sounds like a russian accent

Colin Farrell with blond hair as Alexander and his Irish accent slipping out

    Jared Leto portrayed Hephaestion

I thought Colin and Jared had a pretty good screen presence together however

Rosario Dawson as Roxana was probably the most annoying character in the movie

    9 1/2 Weeks

I find it rather amusing that I was thinking about this movie a couple of days ago (don't ask me why!), and then it pops up on television.

    Driver

Hadn't heard anything about it and didn't know what to expect. Slow, hypnotic pace and sudden, shocking violence. Not bad. Ryan Gosling does nothing for me but I found him sexy in all the violent scenes. Some of the film didn't quite work for me but I liked it overall. The music was a bit disturbing, though, it took me out of the movie with that 80s feel it had.

Hated the female characters. Carey Mulligan was a wet rag and Christina Hendricks a useless mess. The men own this movie. Besides Gosling I really liked Albert Brooks who does evil crime boss surprisingly well.

And speaking of which, good God, January Jones is a terrible actress.
how does the woman get work ? surely isn't her acting skill....

apart from her wooden awfulness i found the film quite enjoyable but hey, they could have cut out every character except prof x and magneto since mcavoy and fassbender were amazing together and blew the rest away
