not usually something i would go see but it was actually pretty funny, at least until the garden scene. it was kind of all downhill from there. and what is it with hollywood and its obsession with speeches (the grad. speech). really? does everything have to lead up to some grand gesture that involves a public speech? why???
so mostly all good but lame and predictable ending.

and i'm probably the only chick in the world who doesn't think ryan gosling is hot. i'd rather do steve carell. actually i would gladly do steve carell...
Nope, I feel the same way. Have never thought Ryan was hot at all, and I have always had a crush on Steve Carell dating back to his "The Daily Show" days.

My heart melts for nerds, what can I say.

The last movie I watched was....wait for it.....Gigli.

I just smoked a bowl, and I enjoy movies sooo much better afterwards, I get into them more. I also seem to like movies that the majority of the world hate. So I figured I could find SOME good parts in it even after hearing all the horrible reviews for it.

Needless to say, I thought it was the biggest piece of crap! If I didn't know any better I would of thought it was a big joke it was so bad. I fast forwarded through parts because it was boring, the story was just ridiculous.
I was very upset that I wasted the effects of that bowl on that POS movie.

    Next up tonight is:

Zombie Honeymoon, and either 8 Mile or Dinner for Schmucks. I haven't decided yet.
I just love having a DVR and all the premium movie channels free for 3 months! I get to catch up on all the movies I even remotely wanted to see.
~Madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

That was one of my favorite Hitchcock movies, too. Also Rear Window.

    Another good one. She's wonderful.

Couldn't make it to the end of this one, it was stupid all right.

Didn't care for the new Jane Eyre movie. The 2007 miniseries was better (Toby Stephens) except for the cutesy ending (also they didn't show that he regained his sight).

Due Date I liked it but only because I imagined Robert Downey Jr. Nekid all the way through it. It was funny in parts but not the best, kind of slow in places

    The Walker

Woody Harrelson plays a middle aged gay man who escorts other men's wives to social events so the husbands do not have to. One of the women he escorts, Lynn Lockner is the wife of a United States senator and is carrying on an affair with a lobbyist. When she finds the lobbyist murdered, she embroils Carter in an investigation that leads to the highest levels of the federal government.

it's a decent movie for what it is

usually not a fan of Harrelson but he did a pretty good job in this

I've seen this...it was okay. His rug was pretty obvious though.

    Cool

"Texas Justice" starring Heather Locklear and Peter Strauss. (Yes, it was on Lifetime.)

This was a 4 hour mini-series that oirginally aired in 1995 about the real-life Fort Worth oil tycoon, T. Cullen Davis who, in 1976, was charged with the murder of his 12-year old step-daughter, his estranged wife's boyfriend and the attempted murder of his estranged wife, Priscilla Davis. The only reason Priscilla didn't die from the gun shot was because the bullet lodged in her big ol' breast implants. Cullen was acquitted of all charges.

Good movie because it was a true story.

    The book is better though.

I didn't care for Rango, either. I didn't understand all the hoopla and praise for the movie.

    Conan the Barbarian (2011)

It was really painful to watch because I loved the cast and I had been looking very much forward to this film. Unfortunately the script was so bad I needed a lobotomy to sit through it. Unbelievably stupid dialogue and the whole thing was just too dumb for words.

It's a pity, I really wanted to find some redeeming quality since I am so angry at all the racist fanbois who wouldn't watch this movie just because Jason Momoa doesn't look Aryan enough for them. But really, the casting is the last thing, in fact most of the actors do their best with the crap they are given and the fighting scenes mostly work.
