A horror film called Seconds Apart. It's about twin teenage boys who use telepathy to make people kill themselves. It's pretty good.

Annie Hall. Didn't like it any. Woody Allen and Diane Keaton annoyed the everloving hell out of me and even though I understood the jokes perfectly fine, I didn't find it funny.

    Awake (2007)

Hayden Christensen is a super rich guy with heart problems. During heart surgery the anaesthesia fails and he remains aware of everything that is happening. He discovers a conspiracy against him.

Seriously terrible movie. Wooden acting and a utterly stupid plot. I'd lost the remote control and I was too tired to move from the couch to find it otherwise there's no way I would have sat through that dreck. Just say no.

Dances With Wolves ... all four hours, although it didn't really seem that long.

I despised the cornball fashion trend it inspired. I like Diane Keaton, but she's always dressed for shit, and this movie let her get away with it.

Saw that and thought it was stupid too. I thought it was Asshton Kutcher who played the lead. He's pretty interchangeable with HC though.

finished watching the first 2 parts of the Ken Burns Civil War Documentary

still got a ways to go

this is in my opinion one of the best documentaries ever made just by what I've seen so far

before now I've only seen bits and pieces of it

it keeps you interested and isn't dull and boring like I thought

the entire thing is on Netflix Streaming

    "Let the Right One in"

I just started watching it on NetFlix (streaming), and am only about halfway through. Pretty cool, atmospheric movie (set in Sweden) about a boy who is kind of an outcast (bullied) in school, who is befriended by a new neighbor in his apartment complex. And she is a vampire (not a spoiler - it's established early on in the film).

The Conspirator, Redford's film about the Lincoln assassination.

Lot's of "Hey, it's that guy" casting (Andy Bellefleur, Nucky Thompson's brother, Hollis from Northern Exposure, Norman Reedus as one of the assassins, Danny Houston as the prosecutor, Colm Meany). All the men wore a lot of stuck-on facial hair.

Robin Wright and James McAvoy are good in the lead roles. Evan Rachel Wood is good as Robin's daughter.

But the script SUCKED. Like one of those documentaries they make you watch in 8th grade.

I saw 3 summer flicks this week.
Captain America - which I didn't enjoy at all. I think it had every singe cliche you could think of. Was just ridiculous.
Rise of the planet of the apes- I really liked it. Was very well made and also left you with something to think about after the movie has ended.
Thor- Didn't hate it, didn't like it. Just like every other summer movie. Great special effects and I also thought Chris Hemsworth was really hot.

    Bad Teacher

I didn't expect much. From the trailer it looked stupid but I liked its outrageous humour and all the performances. And omg I found Jason Segel (Marshall in How I met your mother) soooo hot as the love interest. He's exactly my type.

It's Montgomery Clift day on TCM and I've watched "From Here to Eternity," "The Misfits," and I'm watching "A Place in the Sun" right now. Between the car wreck and his drinking habits, he aged about 30 years in like 10.

The Lincoln Lawyer. This was actually a great film, Matthew McConaughey was perfectly cast and did a great job.
Loved how they didn't go the cliche 'I'll never be unjust again' route at the end, by showing that the guy hadn't really changed.
