'Insidious'.. first half was pretty great and then the last half just tried to explain everything away super fast... I felt gypped. We Netflixed it and the DVD was scratched right as (spoiler) the father went into the Further to get his son back, so we missed the whole demonic showdown. But all in all, it was just another creepy movie I probably won't watch again for a few years. Meh.

Also saw 'Arthur'... jesus christ, Russell Brand's voice is annoying. Pointless movie.

I wish our Netflix had Insidious. I want to see it. The search function on Netflix is seriously busted. I tried doing a search for Insidious. It didn't say the movie isn't available, like it usually does, and I got a list of movies that have absolutely nothing to do with what I was searching for. The Cat In The Hat? The Adventures Of Elmo In Grouchland? What the fuck?!

Is DVD availability regional? I'm looking at the site now and it won't let me see if it's available because I have it checked out at the moment but that's really weird. I've noticed some stuff is available on DVD and I'll put it in my queue and then when it's time for that movie to ship it's all of the sudden not available. Same for some streaming options. I wish they'd be consistent with what they offer.

Also, watched 'Godfather' pt 1 and 2 this weekend as part of Mob Week on AMC. Hosted by Rudy Giuliani, which I found really strange. 2 is still better than 1, I don't think I'll ever waver on that opinion.

We don't have DVD in my area. Streaming only.

The first hour of Insidious was really good, but it fell apart during the last 30 minutes. Things got too cheesy.

If you haven't seen Sucker Punch, then don't bother. What a piece of garbage. Zack Snyder can't tell a story for squat. It did look good, though.

I watched Friends with benefits yesterday. Timberlake and Kunis has done a marvelous job and their chemistry is awesome. And as far as story is concerned its a typical Rom-Com

Insidious is available on Netflix. It is a new release right now, so it may have a long wait. A lot of new movies have a long wait when they first come out. That is the one thing that bugs me with Netflix. I lucked out and got Insidious last week.

I'm in Canada. A lot of movies available on the US Netflix aren't available here yet. Plus, we only have streaming in my area, and that greatly lowers our choice of movies.

Is Redbox in Canada? That's where I found a copy. And in the first week of release, too.

I have no idea. I've seen it advertised on the American tv channels, but I've never thought to look it up here. I should do that. Thanks!

Awww...I see. Well I hope you find it soon, or Netflix updates their inventory for our neighbors to the north!

Lolita (1962) I really want to read the book now. I think they did a good job with the material especially for the time when I'm sure this movie was a big risk.

^ I think its been at least three times now where Ive tried to read that book. I have yet to get past page 100. Its just so wordy and seems to be going nowhere. I might check out the movie sometime but Im not sure about that book.

    Horrible Bosses

I laughed my ass off. Highly recommended. Hadn't laughed so hard at the cinema since the first Hangover.
