Timbuktu. (about how ISIS jihadist have taken over Timbuktu and how the locals are having difficulties living by their rules and even the Jihadist themselves question some of their own rules..) It is a sad movie but I loved it. One of the most powerful movies I have seen.

SMH at the fact that they cut out the rape scene understandably so), but left in the scene where Kevin Bacon kills the dog by slamming it up against the wall because it wouldn't stop barking.

    "London Has Fallen"

Predictable but it's not boring. I find myself extremely attracted to Aaron Eckhart right now whereas I was just neutral on him before.

My husband and kid saw Batman v. Superman last night. I didn't go but according to them, it was awesome. The Mr. is a die hard Marvel fan since grade school so he was skeptical DC could pull off a cool movie but he said, and I quote, "Holy Fuck Balls."

Also, and don't shoot the messenger, he said Affleck = best Batman Ever.

Rewatched Young Adult (2011) with Charlize Theron

Won't recommend it without reservations, it seems that a lot of people hated the film but it really spoke to me and Theron's performance is amazing. Very funny, sad and often cringeworthy film but I loved it.
What if Superman is psychotic and everyone can see that he's Clark Kent but they just play along not to set him off?

I just don't get why they'd be against each other. Aren't they both for the good of all?

I asked my husband. He let out a sigh and said "Listen, it's a god versus man thing based on The Dark Night...."

I went back to my book. I just can't.

I think it just comes down to each thinking the other is threat to humanity or something.

He is a force all to his own isn't he?
I looked at my teen son and shouted It's Henry Rollins! Of course, being born to late to understand he looks at me quizzically so I said I'll explain after the movie.
Showed him youtube clips of his Black Flag days.
He looks at me and goes "He's PERFECT for that role!"

    Perfect indeed

I did find the movie very indie but it has promise and Rollins really is perfect for it.
