Serial Mom. I haven't seen it for years and I'd forgotten how funny it is. "Fashion is changing!"

I Am Number Four. It was an okay movie for an action/sci-fi flick. In ways, better than most of the Twilight movies. At least most of the people could act in this one.

I am not sure they will make another one, so I thought it sucked how they left the story hanging. My youngest daughter now wants to get the book to read, and the new ones in the series, as they come out. I think she also thought the lead guy was a cutie. lol

The love interest is a cutie, he looks like Joaquin Phoenix had a baby with that Chuck Bass dude.
Both of those boys were cuties and Gary Oldman was in it and he is the sex, always.

    Cracks

It's set in an English all girl boarding school in the 1930's. Eva Green is the psychotic/mesmerizing teacher who manipulates her hormonal students. She is the object of desire until a student from Spain shows up to throw everything out of balance. At first, the movie is a bit slow. But it gradually builds, layer upon layer, to finally reach a disturbing ending. Eva Green is superb. She is my new favorite actress. Her slow break down was fascinating to watch. I guess hence the title "Cracks". We really see her psyche slowly crack. The movie is directed by Jordan Scott, daughter of Ridley. For once, a celeb spawn who actually has some talent. I'll be watching her future endeavors.

Sorry for the novel, but it was an excellent film.

    Rabbit Hole

This movie is about the life of a couple (Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart) after their 4yo son dies in an accident. It got great reviews on IMDB, but I was bored out of my mind and turned it off halfway through.

It Happened One Night. Such an adorable movie, and I love me some Clark Gable.

'Super High Me'.. honestly, I was expecting more cool, informative shit. Instead it was just him bitching about not smoking pot for 30 days followed by him bragging about smoking pot for 30 days with some DEA raids and IQ and memory tests thrown in here and there. Of course maybe I expected too much from a movie about pot smoking made by a pot smoker. And I swear to god I don't think he was inhaling half the time.

Hart's War-and only because Colin is in it. And yeah I have seen it many times and of course like it because Colin is in it and looks hot and his acting is decent in it as well.

wtf has happened to Colin?-like he dropped off the face of the Earth.

Jane Eyre with Orson Welles and Joan Fontaine. Excellent film, but you have to suspend belief to buy that Joan Fontaine is plain, though.

She did the plain Jane thing in Suspicion and Rebecca...but yes, Miss Fontaine was actually quite lovely.

I watched Mahogany last night - what a godawful film it was. Poor Diana was terrible in it. Even the fashions her character "designed" were lame and cheesy. But it has that 70s vibe and that great pop song Do You Know Where You're Going To?...love that song.

I love Rebecca - Laurence Olivier is just Max in that film.

I always thought Joan and her sister, Olivia de Havilland, were such beauties. I've read that they despise each other. They're both still alive and kicking and well over 90.
