Transformers 3 - Loved it!!! The first 15 minutes or so were kind of cheesy - they overdid the funny stuff. After that, I blinked and the movie was over. It was 2 hours and 37 minutes - wasn't bored for even a minute. Of course not an academy award contender but, for what it is, it was excellent. When the movie ended, everyone clapped and yelled like a rock concert
Silence may be golden but, duct tape is cheaper.

^ Glad to hear it. I hated the first two (the parts I stayed awake for) but my cousin worked on this one in Chicago so I promised him I'd see it. Glad it didn't suck.

Beastly - quite a nice little film. I enjoyed it much more than i expected.

Vanessa Hudgens is not a bad actress. The last half hour bored me though.

We watched Beastly and Black Swan over the weekend.

Beastly was a better movie than I thought. Same story as old as time, like Beauty and the Beast. But we enjoyed it.

Black Swan,...meh,..it was different. I don't get all the ravs on this one, but to each their own. Natalie Portman was so damn thin in this movie. I think the weight loss really aged her in the film.

watched the movie Twelve on Netflix last night

pretty interesting movie for what it is

stars Chace Crawford and 50 Cent

    directed by Joel Schumacher

although I have to laugh because Chace as a drug dealer is about as believable as me as a drug dealer lol

My kiddo made me watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Rodrick Rules... it was ok for what it is: a kid movie. It had cute moments and a cute message. Except I kept looking at the mom and thinking "Since you fucked that bellboy on a Carnival cruise: BOOM"

Bad Teacher. I thought it was pretty funny. Jason Segel was terrific as always and I really loved Justin Timberlake's character as well.

Bad Teacher. i did not like it at all. it wasn't really funny. Everything that made me laugh was in the previews. waste of money.

Someone finally posted No Man of Her Own with Barbara Stanwyck on YouTube. Based on a Cornell Woolrich novel, I Married a Dead Man, an unmarried pregnant woman, abandoned by her boyfriend, is mistakenly ID as the wife of the son of a wealthy family after a horrific train wreck. Her boyfriend finds out and sets out to blackmail her to keep her secret. Of course, it's a Stanwyck movie, so you know somebody gets shot . It sounds preposterous, but it's a great story. Later remade as the shittifyingly bad Mrs. Winterbourne.

    Burlesque
Much better than I expected. Christina didnt do that bad and Chers face scared me throughout the film. How many times has she had plastic surgery now? It also gave me a serious urge to watch Glitter. I had an urge to watch The Last Song as well but these are singer acting debuts, see, and I doubt Miley sang much in that movie.

Black Swan. Meh. Natalie's performance was great... but the story itself just kind of sucked. Spoiler: the whole hallucination/is this real thing got kind of gimmicky real quick and I didn't enjoy it because of that. Excellent cinematography and music, though. And, damnit, Vincent Cassel is one hot and buttery croissant.

    Horrible Bosses

    Absolutely friggin' LOVED it!

It's crude, dirty, smart humor, at it's best. Charlie Day is a gem, Jennifer Aniston a raunchy whore, Jason Bateman, well, he's Jason Bateman, which is good in-in of itself, Jason Sudeikis is a horny goof, Kevin Spacy a perfect bastard, and Colin Ferrell is about as nasty as you can imagine.

We'll have to see it again, many parts had all 3 main characters talking at the same time, and attention seems to float to Charlie Day's character, I'm sure I missed some of Jason Bateman's understated humor.

    (not for the easily offended..)

    Bad Teacher
    Transformers 3
    Horrible Bosses

And these are just the ones I can remember. I know theres a bunch more, if only I could get some time to go to a movie theatre. Ill probably end up watching all of these on DVD.
