Finally saw Bridesmaids. I liked it but I'm not sure I loved it. Some of that movie hit close to home and her sadness was palpable. It wasn't quite the female version of The Hangover like I expected it to be. Some scenes were ridiculously hilarious. Others quite sad. Overall I really enjoyed it but I would like to put that last minute of the film back out into the universe and never think of it again. LOL

Bonnie & Clyde. Stylized biopic of the two famous criminals. But a great cast. Beatty isn't the greatest actor, but what a hot piece of ass he was in that wife beater. The actor who played Hoss is one ugly mofo.

How to Die in Oregon- I've been telling everyone to see it. Powerful. Very sad.

    Tree of Life

Very powerful. A bit slow in the beginning and confusing at parts but I liked the ending a lot. I felt like I had been in the cinema for more than 3 hours but it has a normal running time. Sean Penn has a very small part. Brad Pitt's role is bigger and he does a great job as does the rest of the cast. I wouldn't hurry to watch it again but I don't regret seeing it. Gorgeous classical music score too.

ETA: This is a movie that needs to be watched in the big screen.

Watched Tron over the weekend. It was okay, but I expected it to be better. Garrett was nice to look at though.

We also watched The Outsiders for the hundreth time. I still love this movie, even after all these years. And it can still make me cry. It is neat to see all those famous actors at such a young age. I think there were 8 actors that all became famous in their own way, plus Leif Garrett. And Leif pretty much turned into the puke he played in the movie.

^ Really? I'm glad to hear that. It had a 30-something percent approval rating so we passed it over for Bridesmaids.

X-Men First Class. I really liked it. Good cameos and young Magneto was terrific. Loved Kevin Bacon as the baddie. Some inconsistencies with the other movies but overall two thumbs up.

    The King's Speech

I had managed to miss that at the cinemas. Excellent film, full of heart. Colin Firth was amazing.
