I just realized I mistyped Harper Lee. But yeah, I preferred 'Infamous' over 'Capote'.. mostly for the reasons you said, I loved the scenes with his NY socialite friends.

I'm about to watch 'Dial M for Murder'... every once in a while I get an itch to see a Hitchcock film.

I can't remember any of the scenes being overly graphic but knowing what has happened to the man is very disturbing emotionally. A lot is implied.

IIRC, it was called 'Infamous' and not only the the actor look like Truman more than PSH did, his performance was much less mannered and tic-y.

We saw Thor last week and we both loved it. It's just a really fun movie, with no real thinking required. It flew by.

I watched Eat, Pray, Love out of sheer boredom yesterday. Holy fuck! That's the biggest load of shit I've ever seen. Criminal. How vapid can a movie possibly be? Pseudo-philosophical bullshit for bored housewives. To think that it was successful makes me want to gag.

    1. The Mechanic-Jason Statham looked very hot. not too much violence. good plot-thought donald sutherland was a cool casting choice. recommended.

    2. the lodger-very very very bad

watched Howl on Netflix this afternoon

I liked it but it was a little different then I had expected

you probably have to like Ginsburg to enjoy this movie

James Franco did pretty good as Allen Ginsburg

Jon Hamm did pretty good as well
