The Great Santini. Michael O'Keefe was so cute when he was younger.

Watched No Strings Attached over the weekend. Ashton just sucks, period. I just don't get this guys appeal. He had a really dorky haircut in the movie, too. Like a bowl cut. Natalie is pretty, but they had little to no chemistry in my opinion.

    Bridesmaids

My husband and I absolutely loved it! It's definitely a "laugh out loud" comedy!
Melissa McCarthy is a scene stealer, and Kristin Wiig masters humor from subtle to physical in this movie.
The dialogue feels like normal conversations, almost "ad-lib" like.
We spend the day after seeing the movie, laughing again while talking about certain scenes.

I re-watched "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" yesterday. Hilarious. It made up for the shitfest of a snore that was "The Runaways" before it.
When your daughter plays "House," she pretends to be an annoying doctor with a pill-addiction and a limp.

Hanna - another Hollywood film that's been mis-marketed. This isn't so much an action film more of a journey of discovery where Hanna goes out and discovers what it's like to be normal.

The lead actress is so talented she was amazing. But i wouldn't recommend this. It was ok but nothing special. Good to see Hollywood try something different.

I love that movie. Terence Stamp was so great in it.

Finally saw Due Date. It was the uncomfortable, raunchy humor like the Hangover but not quite as funny. Zach G is hysterical in small doses, not a the co-lead. There was just way too much of him. I finally saw why everyone loves RDJ so much though.

I have heard nothing but good things about this movie. My son and I have a movie date next Friday (complete with allowing him to skip school so we can sleep in and then go to the mall while everyone else is at school) and this is on our short list...

I can't make up my mind about that movie.

    The Social Network

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie and I was so happy when it aired on TMN last night. I am sad to say, though, that anticipating the movie was more fun than actually watching it. It was rather blah and not very interesting. I was extremely underwhelmed. Very disappointing experience.

The Rite. It is a pretty good exorcism film. The ending is stupid, but I still had a poor night's sleep after watching it. They're are some solid creepy parts. The young priest is a hottie.

    Meet Joe Black
    Brad's acting sucked rotten lemons.
It made me realize his gestures never changes between all his movies. For a sec I thought I was watching Legends in the Fall.
When he was with Anthony Hopkins though, it was golden. I was glued to the screen. Anyone else, his whole (acting) persona completely changed into a fumbling idiot. He is playing Death for crying out loud!
Everyone but Brad made the movie what it is. I loved the whole storyline. Hated the very end.
    LOVED Hopkins!
"Death and taxes" .... *giggles* my fav scene.

The Exorcist....I cringe and laff at the same time when I see the cross-fucking scene!
