Saw Thor too. Reviews in the other thread. Loved it though. The sets sucked but there was a ton of humor and Thor came across as the perfect mix of what men and women want in a superhero. Natalie Portman was even tolerable.

Jade, I might have to put that in my Netflix.
Sorry I just saw this. I help run movie screenings so I see most of the movies before they come out. This is one of the best I've seen this year. Bridesmaids is actually pretty damn hilarious too...

One thing that I found weird was how quickly he fell for Natalie Portman...I mean, look at the 2 of them side by side. As I read in one review, "one Thor bicep is equal to one Natalie Portman head" lol...

Just finished Sophia Coppola's "Somewhere". I felt like I was watching paint dry. What a pointless film.

I'm embarassed to admit that I saw Something Borrowed last night (cheap Tuesday, girls' night, lots of wine). And I actually enjoyed it. I think the wine and my exceedingly low expectations helped. It really couldn't possibly have been any worse than what I was preparing myself for...so, therefore, it ended up being enjoyable.

    Salt. Ridiculous.
When your daughter plays "House," she pretends to be an annoying doctor with a pill-addiction and a limp.

I want to see that. Mostly for John Krasinski. Okay, entirely for John Krasinski.

recently watched the movie Cruel Intentions

I remember it being really popular when I was in high school and can recall going to it when it came out

I've watched it maybe once more since then but that was yrs ago as well

really wasn't as good as I remembered it being

I did like Ryan Phillipe in it though

it's a decent movie but no where near is good as I recall it being

Animal Kingdom. Jackie Weaver was brilliant but so were Guy Pearce and Ben Mendelsson.

He was really good in it. And I've developed an appreciation for Colin Egglesfield, who I'd never even heard of before.

27 Dresses--I'm actually watching it right now. Hate the Heigel, but have developed an enormous crush on the guy in it, I think its James Marsden or something? CUTE!!!

Predictable and dumb, but kinda ok too. Must be the drugs I'm on.
