What was the last movie you watched, and what did you think of it?

Watched Due Date and Morning Glory over the weekend.

Due Date was better than I thought it would be. RDJ looked good in it and he is pretty good at comedy. The other guy was such a disaster, but he was funny.

Morning Glory was pretty boring and long. I didn't care for Harrison Ford's character in this one at all. He was so dry and had no personality. I really didn't care for any of the characters or what happened to them.

I saw "Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Rodrick Rules", a movie I didn't know existed until Saturday. I felt sorry for Steve Zahn.

Watched Chloe this weekend. Was totally not expecting the Julianne Moore/Amanda Seyfried sex scene... The movie was decent though.

The Tourist

Ohmyfreakingod people were not exaggerating when they said this movie was absolute crap. Stupid, implausible story. The acting, oy vey! Angelina Jolie is terrible actress. Her accent and all those "hmmm" sounds she made were so annoying. She better work on keeping her good looks because that's the only thing she has going for her. Johnny Depp seemed to be phoning it in. No chemistry.

The Fighter

Excellent film. Completely deserving of all its awards. Although I thought Christian Bale overacted much of the time. Mark Walberg was very good. Melissa Leo was also good as she was pretty much playing herself, an obnoxious woman with a filthy mouth.

Finally saw Blazing Saddles. Somehow I expected it to be funnier. The one thing I never expected was to say, "Hmm, Gene Wilder is slightly hot," but he sort of was.

A couple random unnecessary plot points that have NO bearing on the film whatsoever except maybe to make it longer, and not a GREAT film by any means, but entertaining.

saw Paul on Tuesday. My 17 yo daughter liked it, but I didn't care for it at all. There were a few funny spots, but overall it was boring.

Yesterday I watched Burn After Reading. Odd movie, but once they offed Brad Pitt (who was hysterical) the movie died.

Lemmy. It gave me a new-found respect for the man, and I'm not a Motorhead fan or anything, he's just had an interesting life, seen and done a lot as far as early rock and roll goes, and has never sold out in any way. I've always found him horrifically ugly so this is weird, but he almost looked hot in this! I think he's had some work done or something but either way, his sex appeal is apparent in live action. Even with those friggin' moles! [runs and hides].

^ That sounds pretty cool. I have to see it! I'm not a huge Motorhead fan but I've always respected them and really hope I'll manage to see them live someday. The one thing I love about Lemmy is how virulently anti-religion he is. He's written some amazing lyrics.
