Here's a stinker: The Last Unicorn

My teenage daughter loves it, my 10 year old could take it or leave it and I couldn't wait for it to end!

The Last Unicorn was my favorite movie as a kid, I watched it over & over again. I will whip you for such disrepect!

Red Riding Hood! Cheesy as hell in some parts, but mostly ok.

^ I really wanted to see that and completely forgot it was even out.

    Starship Troopers
Denise Richards cannot act but a good movie overall.

Saw Rango today with my kid. I never, ever fall asleep during movies at the theater but I was out cold for 30 minutes of this one.

It was a bit weird and borrowed heavily from other movies (some parts reminded me a lot of Gladiator and, oddly enough the inbreeding from Deliverance). It seemed like someone wanted to give Johnny Depp free range (ala Cpt Jack) and then decided to make a movie around it.

The last 20 minutes were ok but predictable. All in all, it's 2 hours of my life and $13 bucks I want back.

Thanks for the heads up on Rango. I will put it on the Netflix rental list for my youngest daughter. Depp was enough to keep me away, but my daughter does want to eventually see it.

I've been watching a ton of movies lately. There's Austin Powers, which rocked harder than I remembered. The Thing, which was awesome. Imitation of Life, which made me bawl. The Odd Couple, which was great because I love Jack Lemmon. Dead End, which had me creeped out but lost me with the end, it was too cliched.
There's a ton more, I'm on such a movie binge.

I used to do that but I got to the point where I watched so many movies that not only did I forget what I watched but also which ones were any good. I only remembered the ones that were really bad.

The Adjustment Bureau - ugh I expected this to be a lot better. It seemed like a lot of the time when Matt Damon and Emily Blunt were delivering their lines they knew it sounded absolutely shit and so they weren't convincing but just laughable. It could have been a great film but it definitely fell short - very, very short.

Battle: Los Angeles. I actually liked it but it dragged on and on and on. Like one thing would finish and you'd think 'okay, the film is going to wrap up now' and then omg they have to go back and do something else epic. This happened honestly about 5 times. I still enjoyed the film and would have liked it a lot more if I wasn't waiting for it to finish because I needed to pee near the end. Working on a production like this would be amazing.
And so, I will keep fighting to make the US a more progressive, multi-cultural country, and my fight starts on GossipRocks - mikesandy

How old is your child? I was wondering if it was too mature for my 7 yr old?

SATC One. I so prefer it to the awful sequel. But it just reinforces my opinion that Carrie and Miranda are such twats.
