The King's Speech. Not bad, but I was expecting more. Colin was impressive though. But the whole film had a Masterpiece Theeeaaatre feel to it. So why did I have to shell out bucks to see it?

i wached "rabbit hole" yesterday. it's a great little touching movie, but nicole kidman's face was a little distracting in some scenes (like when she's trying to cry).

    today i watched:
"the mist" which started off promising and then it just turned into a horrible trainwreck of a movie except for the last 10 minutes

    "severance" which was hilarious.

"The King's Speech" - it was excellent. I love me some Colin Firth.

The Nines - it made no fucking sense to me whatsoever. Just because Ryan Reynolds can play three different parts in a film doesn't mean that he should. A total waste of my time.

I watched Nowhere Boy over the weekend. I was bugged by the fact that none of the actors resembled their famous characters as well. I am not a Beatles fan, so I knew none of the bands background. So it was neat to learn a little about them. The actor that played John was cute,...FAR better looking than Lennon ever was.

Red. Not a bad movie. I liked seeing all four of the main characters in a fun movie together. I have never cared for Bruce Willis much in the past, but he is getting better looking to me as he ages. Helen Mirren looked good in this movie, and it is always fun to see John Malkovich playing kooky characters.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. It was an okay movie. I never watched the first one, so didn't know the whole background of it. Sheen looked like a puke face in it. Martin looked pretty good, and Shia is a cutie!

    Takers - 2010

I found this boring. They were trying to imitate Heat and failed. Way too many shots of the gang and their lifestyle.

The script was bad and the acting ok.

    A very dull movie.

Cable: The gangs of New York. Overwhelming in some aspects. Daniel Day Lewis sure did act his little heart out and looked greasy and creepy to boot.
Warren Beatty: actor, director, writer, producer.

A Man For All Seasons- Paul Scofield, Wendy Hiller, Robert Shaw.

I've seen it a million times- Henry VIII, Thomas More, and 'The King's Great Matter'. It never gets old.

Machete. I loved this movie, the blood, violence, and gore are right up my alley. The use of weapons was awsome. Add Danny Trejo to my fug guys that I would Do. Also, Rodriguez and Abba looked hot, Lilo looked liked death warmed over.

Happiness. My mom made me watch it years ago, and I didn't remember much of it so I watched it again. Jesus Christ was it weird. I'd already seen Dylan Baker in other things and I already liked him, but now I'm always going to see him as that character. All his scenes made me uncomfortable.

I'm home sick today, so I caught Lifeguard on ON DEMAND. Not much of a plot, but seeing a young Sam Elliot in red trunks and a great tan cleared my sinuses.
