My husband and son rented "Dinner for Schmucks" over the weekend (with Steve Carrell) and made me sit and watch it with them. That, without a doubt, has to be the STUPIDEST movie I have ever seen. That's 90 minutes of my life that I'll never get back again!

Oh yeah? My son and I went and saw it when it was in theaters so it was like $70.00 (snacks and Icees included) and 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back! HORRIBLE!

Saw Tangled with my kid yesterday. I really liked it (so did she). Some of the themes were heavy but probably not much different than other Disney movies. The princess in this movie was actually likeable, as was the "prince."

We also watched ET. My kid sobbed and sobbed. I forgot how heartbreaking that story was.

The King's Speech. Never really thought I would like that type of movie but I loved it.

I finally finished The Town last night. I really enjoyed the movie. I was also rooting for the bad guys in this one. I have never really understood the Ben Affleck attraction, but he was hot in this movie. I think he is getting better looking as he ages. His acting was pretty good in it as well. I do love how he ALWAYS has to get his Red Sox mentioned in every movie he directs or acts in...lol

You Don't Mess With the Zohan.
    That was really, really weird.
And embarrassing admission --- I thought Adam Sandler was hot in it!

Tangled which was so great. I loved it.

The King's Speech. I also loved this one! Colin Firth was amazing, it was agonizing watching him trying to force out words. Some people laughed at those scenes which I don't understand, it wasn't funny at all, it was completely agonizing.

the dead zone: still holds up well. christopher walken is great as johnny because he's never a sap. enjoyed it.

ed wood: my favourite tim burton/johnny depp film. jd is perfect as ed, i love his tenacity despite what everyone keeps telling him. sjp, martin landau, patricia arquette, all excellent. agreat movie.

Blue Valentine: A bit slow in parts but overall pretty good. Didn't think it was the masterpiece the critics make it out to be. Ryan Gosling is absolutely brilliant though and there's no warmth or likability about Michelle Williams' character. Depressing movie. it was like being emotionally king hit.

Heartbreaker: French movie starring Vanessa Paradis. Absolutely loved it!!! Funny, fast paced, clever, and stunning scenery.

Cop Out with Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. Not too bad. I laughed a bunch of times. Sean William Scott is in it,and he's hysterical. Much better Cop buddy movie than The Other Guys.

I saw The Company Men this weekend. Strong film all around - good performances and storyline. No, I don't like Affleck's toothpick legs, but he was very good in this movie. So was Chris Cooper. He was kind of heartbreaking.

    Lara Croft Tomb Raider.

Very poor script and acting, how did Angie get so popular as an actress anyway? But nice action scenes and location shots. No hot guys, unfortch.
