Despicable Me...for the 3rd time. Saw it in 3D and the normal way, then bought it when it came out. Still cracks me up.

Rules of Attraction--it had some high points (the restaurant scene was hilarious), but for the most part, we were kinda going WTF? I wasn't expecting a comedy by any means, but this movie was just...IDK.

It wasn't something I'll be rushing out to watch again...

True Grit. It was better than the original. Jeff Bridges is a damn genius.

^Yes, James Van Der Beek is the star of that movie. There were also quite a few other "up and comers" in it as well. I actually liked the movie for some reason.

    That's my New Year's Eve movie. It's Colin's time.

Yes, M'am! Just came home from it. That was like a John Ford western. Loved it. Roger Deakin's is an amazing cinematographer and that Hailee was terrific. And yes, he's the man for all seasons.

Did Barry Pepper remind you of Robert Duvall?

    TRON: Legacy.

I squealed like a girl. Loved it. A lot in common with the first one.

I can't wait to see it. I read that they followed the book, which I loved, much more than the original movie did.

What a piece of crap! It made me angry that whoever made this movie must think the audience is made up of morons. Everything was totally unbelievable. 85 pound Angelina doing stunts that would scare Spiderman was ridiculous. Then they didn't even pay attention to detail. Jolie is dusty in one scene, the next minute she's not. It always looked like she was wearing a cheap wig. It was so bad.

I actually watched Kanye West's short film, "Runaway". It was really good.

The Town. That Ben Affleck movie. It was pretty good but there are some plot moments that are a little too convenient. It seemed like they just needed to move the thing along. Still, it was good enough.
