Do you want to hear about the compound digestive system?

I really want to see the Human Centepede but I'm too scared. It just seems so horrible, and this is coming from a horror movie freak. Plus my bf won't watch it with me, he hates my taste in movies.

A lady I work with watched it over the weekend, and regrets it.

^^ i tought about watching "the human centipede", too, but like aabbcc, i didn't because the title sounds stupid. i'm afraid it'll be a ridiculous disgusting gore movie (not that there's anything wrong with that) and not a scary horror movie.

i watched "taxi driver" and "the road" this weekend. they were both great.

i understand now why "taxi driver" is a classic. it's one of a kind.

"the road" was very different compared to other end-of-the-world-movies. it's really sad and depressing.

this makes me want to watch the original, but i usually can't stand german movies because of the overacting most german actors do. i have to think about it.

She said it was just really gross in parts, total gore movie it sounds like. She said in the middle she wanted to turn it off, but her hubby wanted to see how it turned out. She also said she was even embarrassed to send it back in the mail to Netflix, she really doesn't want anyone to know she even watched it. lol

    lol Your welcome.

I am still curious about the movie, but I guess I am waiting for another review from a GR'r, to compare with her thoughts.

The Grudge 2 - which I liked much better than The Grudge.
    Pet Sematary - *love*

The two movies overlapped so I had to switch back and forth between the end of the first movie and the beginning of the second movie.

Lewis Creed is the perfect example of someone who doesn't learn the first time and keeps repeating his mistake hoping for a better outcome. By the time the end of Pet Sematary rolls around, you are practically rooting for someone to put an end to the moron and your own misery at having to watch such a dumb guy. I hate to say it, but he totally deserves what he gets.

I saw The Human Centipede.. all I can say is LOL

it's not scary, nor particularly gory.. it's more about how awful the situation would be if you were in it.

The one thought that comes to mind is "omg please no, you have to hold it in or else.."

I just watched that movie a couple of days ago. I couldn't get past all the glaring holes in the plot but the Japanese guy was pretty amusing. It wasn't gory, just....disturbing.

    Consequence.

I would rate it 3 stars out of four. One of those you have to watch or else you will miss something and then be confused. Ricky Schroeder is really good and the main actor has a unique style.
