The Blind Side. I usually do not watch movies that make you cry, I prefer slasher, horror, or comedy, but I loved this movie and my husband and I sobbed through out it.

Just watched Kick Ass. Fun. I fail to see what upset some people about that.

My mom and I saw Eat Pray Love last night. Absolute crap. Hated it. I was actually rolling my eyes at times. My mom really liked it, though. Oh, and there wasn't a single man in the theatre. It was kind of funny because it was entirely groups of 40ish and 50ish women. Or, in my case, 40ish women with their moms.

Javier Bardem was super hot, though, and James Franco was kind of wasted in his role.

Some people had their panties in a bunch over rough language being used by a child especially "cunt". I hear there's a sequel on the way. Can't wait.

I love that. A little girl can murder about 100 people in cold blood, but if she swears it's a problem.

One of the best parts of the movie is when she said cunt IMO.

Daily HateMail went as far as to declare that pedophiles would love her.

La Jetée (The Pier) - an experimental short made almost entirely of stills. It was the inspiration behind Twelve Monkeys and the video for Bowie's song Jump They Say (which I love, video and song). I just loved it. Entrancing and thought-provoking.

The Wolfman with Benicio del Torro and I thought it was crap. I ended up wandering off to do some laundry half way through and then watched the other half later because I couldn't be arsed doing anything else. Dull, slow moving and Anthony Hopkins looked like he was sleepwalking through it to pay a tax bill.

I caught the last few minutes of Donnie Darko last night, and it made me wish I'd seen it from the beginning. Maybe I'll see if I can find it to rent this weekend.

Happy trails to you...until we meet again.
I love & miss you Dad.

I was flipping around the channels last night and ended up on TCM, playing Ingmarr Bergman's "Virgin Spring".

That Bergman dude TOTALLY ripped off "Last House on the Left". I hope Wes Craven sues.
