Youth in Revolt ~ *** It was OK I was mildly amused but lots of good actors ! Steve Buschemi, Michael Cera, Jean Smart, many more!

Yeah, I liked Michael Cera, til I realized his range is totally limited,,,,, In youth in revolt he was good as the alter ego and he should take more roles like that...... Superbad was pretty good though too!!!

The Other Guys. I loved it, and thought it was pretty funny. My husband enjoyed seeing Derek Jeter getting shot.

Rear Window- for the millionth time. It's such a great film, and my girl Thelma Ritter has a nice big part.

Twelve Monkeys - I'll have to watch this one again. Willis and Pitt trying to act and partly failing, but it still is a great movie. For some reason I liked it better than Brazil

The Godfather II - the first half was excruciatingly confusing, but it became clear later. I know Marlon Brando didn't want to appear in the sequel, but I was annoyed by De Niro's on-and-off "Don Corleone" voice.

Date Night I like Tina Fey, but this was boring, predictable, lame and kinda stupid.

Inglourious Basterds Much funnier than I thought it would be, and BP was actually good!!

Control - the story of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis. It was OK. I think I found it interesting because I loved Joy Division, but over all it was just OK.

i saw it at the cinema when it came out. the guy who plays ian curtis does a really, really good job but i agree the film itself could have been better.
it has some excellent parts and then at moments it just kind of dragged on.

Fantastic movie. I laughed at the guy jacking off and then felt bad. That poor old woman.

The Surrogates starring Bruce Willis. I love futuristic SciFi stuff. It was pretty good what for it was. I only rolled my eyes a couple times at lame character development things. Bruce was pretty boring in this movie, but all in all, a good hour and a half rental flick.
We also rented The Matrix. Popped it in the thing and grrr, it was The Matrix Reloaded. (should have checked inside the case at the rental place)Needless to say, EJECT!

Meryl doesn't even try anymore. She just calls Lanvin and asks for curtains with a belt.~Bitter
Can we interest you in Leann Rimes? She has a nice little cadre of fans you'd probably enjoy.~ Pecan Pie

He was great. It felt like you were actually watching Ian Curtis. I agree, there were some excellent parts and I loved the whole feel of the black and white.
