I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button yesterday. I'm not a Brad Pitt fan at all, but I really enjoyed the movie and even teared up at the end.

Forgot to add Cries and Whispers, my first Ingmar Bergman film. My SO couldn't stand all the static shots and the lack of dialogue and action, but to me it's a masterpiece. A work of art in the truest sense of the expression.

I've been drinking the Brad Pitt Kool-aid this weekend. Just finished watching Seven Years in Tibet. Pretty good. Two Austrian escapees from a WW2 British prison camp escape from India and end up in Tibet, living with the Dalai Lama.

2012. It wasn't very good, but I couldn't stop watching it. Johann Urb is fine as hell.

I own this movie and watch it about 2-3 times a year. Love the story of the three brothers, and how love, family and devotion still trumps everything. I cry in about 6 different parts, every time I watch it. And Brad was hot with his long hair and woman lips (as my husband calls them) in this film. lol

I get all upset when Brad's wife gets shot. It was so fucking unfair.

There is something inherently romantic and tragic about the film. I could watch it again right now if I wanted to.

    Fight Club
I'm not sure how many dozens of time I've seen it since it came out,but it never gets old.And I wouldn't mind replacing Helena Bonham-Carter in some scenes:

I took my son to see Despicable Me in 3D yesterday. While it was good as far as a kids' movie, I've decided I am going to resist seeing 3D movies It's not worth the extra money - $22.50 for two matinee tickets is robbery.

I agree. Everything is in 3D now,..just to take more of your money!!

I watched Kick Ass over the weekend...it was better than I thought it would be. It had some laughs and brought out the kid in me that wanted to be a super hero when I was young. Hit Girl was bad ass!! But I still wonder about parents who let their kids take on roles like this, with grown up themes, violence and cussing.

I also watched The Road. It was okay,..but I was disturbed by parts of it, too. It was slow and never really went anywhere. Or maybe it was just me.

i saw Despicable me in 3D the first time, and then again the regular way. I must say i enjoyed the regular way because i wasn't waiting for special effects the entire time.
