Watched The Great Escape for the first time with my husband. It's the perfect family film for the next get together. It's got my mom's favorite actor, Charles Bronson, a crush of mine, James Coburn (well, I've only seen him in 2 films), and one of my husband's childhood idols, Steve McQueen.

2012 -- last night. Hokey! Cusack is watchable which is the only reason I made it through. Stupid ass movie.

Osso Bucco - Ileana Douglas. Funny, funny movie about a Mafiosi who knows he is going to get whacked and insists on stopping off for a last meal at his favorite restaurant.

Parting Shots - thought for sure we'd like it, great cast, John Cleese, Diana Rigg, Oliver Reed, Bob Hoskins, Ben Kingsley. But man, did it SUCK!!

Dr. Doolittle - Eddie Murpy, same old, same old.

The Maiden Heist - Christopher Walken, William Macy, Morgan Freeman. Three museum security guards don't want their favorite art pieces to be sent to Denmark. Much, much funnier than I thought it would be. We really liked it.

Dinner Rush - Danny Aiello, John Corbett, Vivian Wu. Good Mob movie with a neat twist, John Corbett surprised me.

Yes, we had a movie marathon last weekend.

9 1/2 Weeks. When Mickey Rourke was actually worthy of being looked at.

^Rourke was never my type of guy,he is immensely talented however.
    The Last King Of Scotland
Forest Whitaker is otherworldly in this.Everything about him-the stare, the voice, the stance-are so griping yet assuming, reeking of cruelty and oppression.Definitely one of the top performances of the last decade!
James McAvoy is a gifted, truly promising actor and I'm looking forward seeing these two's next release I recall reading somewhere about.

I had just seen these two actresses in Julie and Julia and it didn't even occur to me until about halfway through the movie.
I agree. I watched Sophie's Choice recently and she still blows me away.

But he was actually good-looking in this movie and looked clean. I almost forgot what he looked like back in the day.

Blood Creek. Yes, it's as gratuitously bloody and corny as it sounds, but at least I got to drool over Henry Cavill for an hour and a half. Good God that man is ridiculously beautiful.

License to Wed. It was okay. Robin Williams was a nut, as per usual, with some funny lines. Mandy was cute in it.

I tried so hard to watch this just so I could see Henry in something other than Tudors, and it was just unwatchable.

I loved Dinner Rush! Especially the bathroom scene and how cool that guy was on the stairs. Really good movie.

Little Voice with Jane Horrocks (Bubble in AbFab) and Michael Caine.
Liked parts of it, and Michael Caine is just good in pretty much
everything he does. Loved his version at the end of "It's Over".

I know, that really surprised me. You should watch Osso Bucco if you haven't seen it yet, I bet you'd like it.
