Checked out 'The Stepfather' with Dylan Walsh & Sela Ward. It was just okay. Nothing special.

Flower Drum Song. Kind of offensive.

Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, starring Tippi Hedren, Rod Taylor, Suzanne
    Pleshette, Jessica Tandy.
Again, although it's a classic, the difference in acting styles through the
years is one of the first things that catches one's attention. And although
Tippi is much prettier than her daughter Melanie Griffith, I personally found
her face in this movie/this period very annoying. I think she became more
    beautiful with age.
And what, again, catches one's attention is how much characters smoked
in the movies back then, mostly when it had no function whatsoever.
I'd also noticed this when watching The Philadelphia Story a while back.
In one of its first scenes, the female reporter walks into the editor's
office with the James Stewart character, with a lit cigarette in her hand.
She doesn't even draw on it, she just holds it in her hand, throughout
the entire scene, before killing it in an ashtray. What's the friggin' point?
In The Birds, Tippi and Suzanne apparently can't have a conversation
without sharing a smoke together. Weird.
Other than that there are some scenes that still hold up pretty well,
although the limited technology is obvious.

I checked out the movie 'Legion.' Great premise, but with a better script and better F/X, it could've been a great action/horror movie. Instead it was just a decent film, but I still liked it.

Hitchcock found his perfect muse in Grace Kelly, and was obsessed with finding a replacement. He never did. Tippi came close, but lacked warmth, and acting ability.

    I lurve 'The Birds'.

^^ I love Tippi. My favorite Hitch movie is Marnie with Sean Connery.

I watched Corrina, Corrina - ok but nothing great, wouldn't watch it again but the kid was cute.

Shutter Island. It turned out different than I thought it would. Not the best Leo movie I have seen, but it was okay.

Leap Year. The normal sappy love story where everything turns out wonderful. Nothing great, but it was a pleasant 90 minutes. I do think Amy Adams has a certain charm about her.

It's Complicated. It had a few chuckles in it, but not a great movie. It was something to watch on a rainy afternoon. I thought Meryl looked very natural and good in the movie.

Everybody's Fine. Not a great movie either, but I enjoyed it. But I am a sap for family/sibling relationship movies. De Niro looked good in it as well. I just love him. I think Kate Beckinsale is so pretty!

Flicka 2. My 11 year old daughter who loves horses really enjoyed it. It was okay, family friendly movie. Clint Black squinted his way through a few scenes.

The Lovely Bones. The book was a 100 times better!

^^ The Lovely Bones didn't do so well at the box office, you'd think Peter Jackson would jump at the chance to direct The Hobbit because it's sure to be a hit.

Underworld Rise of the Lycan's. Probably the worse of the series but I like Michael Sheen, who makes the best of his clownish looks. He was great in Frost/Nixon. I guess the Twilight series pays for the child support checks he sends Kate Beckinsale for their 11 year old daughter. BTW his dad is a professional Jack Nicholson look a like.

For fans there is going to be a Underworld 3D and Kate is under contract to be in it and her husband aka the man she dumped Michael Sheen for, will direct again.
