i watched "deadline" with brittany murphy. shitty movie. the scariest part was brittany herself, she looks so out of it and horrible the whole time.

and yesterday i watched "the collector" which was great (even though the last 10 minutes were disappointing, but i think there's gonna be a sequel so it's ok).
That crapfest was nominated for an Oscar?
Hub and I saw Deadline a while back, it wasn't great, but better than District 9. I agree that poor Brittany M. looked horrible, she reminded me of a zombie.

I liked District 9, it was different. Definitely heavy-handed on the symbolism, but pretty good.

Rattatouille (I may have butchered the spelling). Liked it the first couple of times - not so much after 1000.

It took my eyes a while to adjust to the 3D glasses but once I did I thought it was interesting. Very much the same story as Pocahontas, but enjoyable.

The most interesting part is that Cameron dreamed this up before technology existed to support his dream. To see a project like this from conception to realization is very inspiring. He lived with the project for longer than 10 years!

    What did you think?

I liked it but it was a bit long for me. I did not know that about Cameron dreaming this up. Pretty interesting, thanks for the info.

    I like District 9 a lot.

Right now we're watching Marie Antoinette. Pretty boring, actually.

^I saw it in the theatre. At least the photography is good, which doesn't translate well on a smaller screen.

Yeah, good photography but pretty bland. Anyway, The Fugitive just started. Like this film a lot.

The Kirsten Dunst/Sofia Coppola version? I like that one.

Yep Baby Face, that's the one. He was indeed very hot in that movie.
