I know! I would've lost it. All day, all night, 44 days just floating. And the one guy ate all the chocolate! (Dandy from American Horror) And to wake up to a Japanese battleship, all the guns aimed at them. I can't imagine the fear.

He enjoyed killing, by his own admission, and he was a habitual liar and braggart. The New Yorker piece on him would have made a great movie, rather than his autobiography. No matter what his skills, Kyle bought into his own myth and sadly, that is what ultimately killed him.
That makes sense because I was so bored of Chris Kyle, not the conflict going on around him, but Chris himself. If that's the real story it WOULD have been more interesting.

Jurassic World. i've never cared for any of them, and this one is even worse. Bryce Dallas Howard is particularly horrible. If she wasn't standing in the background with her mouth open
she was running through the jungle in high heels at a full sprint. Chris Pratt wasn't so bad though.

Hubby is barely the Arthur fan I am, and he loves to tell me I look beautiful in (whatever) light, but that of course one can't depend on that light lol. Whenever he announces he's doing everyday crap, i.e. "I'm taking a nap" I let him know that I'll alert the media.

It is. Such a talented women. I had no idea how bad her father was and how good her friend. You could hear the heartbreak in the girls voice when she told her she stole the passport and the father was like'Why you wanna do that?" That Blake is also EVIL. His last statement!?!?!?

Saw 'After the Ball' with my daughter. I couldn't believe Chris North would play in something so low low low budget. It suppose a preteen movie about fashion and even my 11yr old found the clothes really bad.

Mission Impossible 5. I liked it.

Spectre. I love Daniel Craig and Christoph Waltz but this one dragged for me in a lot of places.

Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty. Yes, I'm a grown-ass woman and I still watch classic Disney.

    yeah, same.
the opening sequence in mexico city is amazing and over the top, craig is great as usual. waltz is fantastic. but yeah, the last third sort of falls apart and drags on way too long.
léa seydoux is gorgeous though and i want every piece of clothing she wears in that movie.

it's not bad, it's very entertaining and cheeky funny but this is a 'light' bond so they should have made it shorter. i feel like with the daniel craig bonds, they've alternated heavy and light movies. casino was heavy on the drama and tragedy, quantum of solace was pretty light (and not all that good) and no tragedy, skyfall was heavy on the drama and loss too so spectre was rather light on drama and tragedy so there was no need to drag it on endlessly.

    still worth seeing though.

I remember about 15+ years ago when Mrs. Mohandas was collecting all these classic Disney movies on VHS. I was asking her, "What are you doing? We don't even have kids. What's the point?" But she said, "Well, I like them." 7 years and two kids later, those tapes had been played until they fell off the reels....

I had some friends in on Friday night and we watched an old gem- Fatso.

Dom DeLuise, Anne Bancroft, Ron Carey. Written and directed by Bancroft. Absolutely hilarious, and touching too.

A classic scene that my friends and I have been quoting to each other for 30 years:

It's no longer a dog whistle, it's a fucking trombone
