what? but but but why? You've lost the magic - you had to see it in the theater when it first came out. As for Star Trek.. I have a brother who is a Trekkie, it's embarrassing. I liked Star Trek and I never missed a show.. ever... but still the new Star Trek was better. Chris Pine is better, in fact I like the entire cast better. OK come to Ga I have the origional Star Wars, we'll watch it on the big screen with THX sound and I'll serve crappy popcorn and we'll dress like we're in the 70's.

I tell you it's like a Vulcan mind melt or is it mind meld? Anyway we are on the same wave length when it comes to sci fi flicks.

Did you see the closing ceremony of the Olympics? When the Russian Federation opera singers came marching out I was like "see they are like storm troopers!!! alas I am a geek

Swimfan. So wretched I turned it off. After seeing her in Traffic, I expected bigger and better things from Erika Christensen. This was not one of them.

I've always been more of a Star Wars fan than a Trekkie. On the DVD of Star Trek the writers/producers described both perfectly. They said Star Trek was more classical music and Star Wars was more rock & roll.

And I didn't see the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, Peach. I avoided the entire Winter Olympics like Bobby Brown avoids child support payments.

Star Trek was TV with sets and stuff.. Star Wars was a space ship coming out of the screen and big THX surround sound..

How could you miss the Olympics? The laughter, the tears, the bad scoring, the Russians being forced to come home early because Putin wasn't happy --

I've never been a big fan of the Winter Olympics. No offense, but I think they're boring. The Summer Olympics are more my thing. Although I kept up with the medal count because it was on the front page of Yahoo.

Hopefully, I'll get to borrow The Hurt Locker from one of my friends this week.

It was the 80's so fun was had by all clearly.
Can you believe I was stupid enough to take a date, a six foot four good looking guy, to see that movie? It was like four hours long and his legs cramped up so badly! Good thing he was a good sport about it.

I tried to watch Heaven's Gate last night because I had never seen it-could not make it through it.
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!

It's like taking on Harry Rheems; you might think you can take it on, but in the end, it's too much.

Saw Inglorious Basterds last night. Not sure what to think of it. It felt uneven, and the dialogue wasn't that great.

    Looked nice though.

Patriot Games. I never sat down and watched the entire film. It really is one of Harrison Ford's best movies.

Alice In Wonderland - a waste of the 3D format and it wasn't worth climbing the steps at the IMax. Instead of the beautiful colors like Avatar everything seemed blurred. Yes I wore my dorky yellow 3D glasses.

Johnny Depp wasn't funny, Ann Hathaway looked like something out of Twilight. Chick playing Alice was good and Helena Bonam Carter was the best part of the flick.

I think it will make big bucks, our theater was packed but when the flick was over no one cheered or acted like they cared one way or the other.

Bull Durham. You know, back when Kevin Costner was semi cute?

    I still like this movie....
