This is just a what if thing. IF it were remade, who do you think would be the perfect actors to take on the roles? No biggee - nevermind - on with the thread.

2001:A Space Odyssey. I'm gonna have nightmares I was so spooked.

Pulp Fiction, about half of it. Entertaining, but it seems like it's more about style than substance. Well, I'll see tomorrow...

The Aviator. Along with Blood Diamond and the Departed, it's still one of DiCaprio's best films.

The Departed was awesome. Not a bad performance in the bunch. I especially liked the ending.

Saw that one some time ago. Yuck the actors are so ugly It had the opposite affect .... Can not believe this is a 'cult' movie

Saw Julie and Julia. Nice but the voice of Streep is very annoying (saw it on a plane with headphones)

Creation I loved it. Very sad (husband found it boring)

The Informant That is a very very wierd movie. At the end we were like euh?

All about Steve the Sandra Bullock movie. Did not like it at all.

Up in the Air. I travel a lot so I related to some things like packing or security checks. It was ok
but I cannot believe this movie is nominated.

séraphine. it's a stunning biopic. pretty much the ideal film for me : slow-paced, not a lot of dialogue, great score and terrific acting. i know understand why yolande moreau won the césar for best actress for her role as séraphine de senlis (painter). ulrich tukur, who plays an art critic, was also really really good.

Ok, well, I liked the beginning, but it kinda seemed pointless as time went by... Make it a "hugely overrated" contender!

The Inside Man - pretty good thriller; Spike Lee should make more movies like this. Excellent cast; i really enjoyed it.

It has some excellent twists throughout the movie.

Adventureland. Its actually a pretty fun little indie flick. ANd I have decided that Kristen Stewart really cannot act. I gave her a pass on Twilight because...well, its Twilight, but she's just as dead-eyed and stone-faced in this. Her only move for showing emotion is pulling her hair. But I do have to say her scene making out with Ryan Reynolds was pretty hot.

Yeah, her acting is terrible, I never understand how she get all these kudos as being a young, super-talented actress. But she looked really pretty in Adventureland. Cute movie. Jesse Eisenberg reminded me a lot of Michael Cera.

    Finally---watched 'Up'. I cried. I admit it.

And while I didn't watch it super close, as I was doing stuff in the beginning, I guess I expected it to be a bit better. I liked it, but didn't LOVE it.

I didn't like "Up" at all. It felt like it was just kinda made up as they went along, and the villain/henchmen just felt totally tacked on.

I really expected more from 'Up', given its good word of mouth/box office and now Academy Award Nomination (though I'm sure it wouldn't have been nominated if there weren't 10 films in the catagory now). It was sweet.....and again, didn't watch every second of it, but didn't get the whole 'bird' thing and why it was so important. And the villian, along w/the bird, was just odd.

Finding that I just am not loving ANY kids/animated films anymore...which blows because that's basically all I watch now--UGH. Oh well...
