Saw Let The Right One In last night. It was pretty good, but it left me wanting a bigger pay-off at the end, a bit more bang (and blood). I've realized I don't like sadistic gore, but I love me a good revenge-fueled blood fest.

Mr. B is trying to get me to watch The Exorcist, which I'm resisting. Good movie but it's the one movie that's too scary for me, I can't sleep for nights after seeing it.

Fuck that Exorcist shit. I will never watch that again.

The original Saw ... I don't like horror movies at all. Even the dumbest crap will keep me up for nights at a time. Someone up thread talked about this series and that it was on Amazon Prime. I've been a Prime member since its inception so I'm always looking for a way to drain every last dollar out of my Prime fee. I don't know what possessed me but I watched it. Pffft. Really. It did nothing for me and I'm wondering if I should even go forward with the series. I do like psychological thrillers, and this seemed way more in that genre than horror. Do they get worse than the first one?

That was me. IMO the second movie is the best. You can ignore the rest.

We just watched this. I actually liked it. Exciting and i love mathew fox. Had some nice effects and scary moments. Wasn't bad. I gave it an 8. I don't rent much anymore.

For nine years, Patrick (Matthew Fox), Jack (Jeffrey Donovan) and his daughter Lu (Quinn McColgan) have outlasted the zombie apocalypse by shutting themselves off in the snowbound town of Harmony.
The monsters have seemingly disappeared, with no sign of other survivors, but the constant fear of the unknown is starting to take a toll on this makeshift family.
When Patrick goes scavenging for food, he discovers the undead have returned and evolved into something terrifying, beyond imagination.
Will the last breath of the human race survive a second zombie apocalypse?

No! I wanted more! They really built up the torment that poor kid went through, I wanted to see more violence in retribution for poor little Oskar. In this case, subtlety will not do.
