    Avatar in 3 D.
Our entire group of 9 loved it.

New Moon, better make up - worse acting. so bad I saw it twice just for the Indian eye candy mind you.

Inglorious Basterds - saw it twice.. great acting, loved it.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Emma, Rupert and Daniel could use some acting lessons. It was boring and I still don't like the new Dumbledore

Up - one of the best animated movies ever.

Paranormal Activity. It was okay, not as scary as i was hoping for.

Happy trails to you...until we meet again.

That's a pretty good description. But what amazes me is how this piece of shit manages to be at the same time offensively patronising to natives (you're nothing until the white man comes to save you) offensive to the disabled (you're nothing if you can't walk) and downright disgusting (that furry sex scene *shudder*). I can usually take it if I don't like a movie but I actively hated this one.

It was nice to see Michelle Rodriguez in a clingy white vest though. Hott! Highlight of the movie for me.

The Princess and the Frog. Cute, not the best Disney film ever. I think, now that I have seen so many kids/animated movies, that Disney just cannot keep up w/Dreamworks and Pixar. They just run circles around them, though Disney can still bring the good music in their movies.

Santa brought 'Up' for my girls for Xmas and I want to watch it in the worst way and cannot MAKE my kids watch it. I mean hello? Looks adorable!

Bergman and Peck were way hot in this movie. I know that the film's portrayal of mental illness is rather dated, but I love the beginning scene with Rhonda Fleming, where she gleefully talks about biting off a man's lip.

I watched Vertigo this afternoon for the third or fourth time, thinking that it's me, that I missed something.

    I didn't.

I watched The Birds again the other night and laughed my ass off because I was high. It's really not a very good film, and neither is Vertigo, IMO.

    Now Spellbound, Notorious, Rear Window?--sublime.

The Birds scared the absolute crap out of me when I was little. I didn't go outside for 3 days. My stinky sister told me she'd have me not look at the bad parts but did just the opposite. I had to see it in college and was so frightened to see it I was sick beforehand. Turned out not to be the scary thing I remembered it to be (at age 6).

Watched The Boy in the Striped PJs last night. Liked the book much more. Conveyed the innocence of the boy better.

Everytime I see my backyard completely filled with crows I think of the birds.

Just saw Sherlock Holmes Christmas Day. I really like "who done it" movies and books but this was just ok. It might have to do with it being a dark movie ie: lighting and comfortable seats but I felt myself dozing a few times. LOL

Robert Downing Jr was really good I have to say. It had a good cast.

We went to see it Xmas day, too....it was ok, but I think it would have been better without the silly special effects. The scenes where shit blows up was a bit like Sherlock Holmes meets Diehard! Great cast and acting, though.
