I really want to see Avatar, but I'm waiting for the crowds to thin out. I can't stand it when the theater's packed.

Jaws: Never saw it before. Loved it.

Bedtime Stories: Not one of Adam Sandler's best movies, but not his worst either. It was okay.

Philadelphia with Tom Hanks and Denzel. One of my favorite all time movies.

    Paranormal Activity

So did not live up to the hype. Bad acting, few scares. Every time the guy would ask "Who's there?" my friend would answer "It's Bill the demon". Her laughing totally ruined it for me. LOL.

I watched North & South with a girlfriend yesterday. Brilliant mini-series. It may have replaced Pride & Prejudice as my favorite Brit romance. :O

    The Queen, on cable.
Interesting on the one hand, kind of (unintentionally I'm sure) satirical,
almost like a Saturday Night Live sketch, on the other hand.
    Mirren was quite good.

a friend of mine just saw it and described it as a "big stupid 3D billion-dollar CGI white man guilt exorcism movie" on her facebook. i thought that was spot-on.

Spellbound. An enjoyable film (it's Hitchcock after all), but the psychoanalysis elements were a bit awkward and the ski scene ridiculous. Hapily there was Ingrid Bergman (one of my fave actresses) and gorgeous Gregory Peck.
