No comment on Halle Berry and her Oscar since I haven't seen Monster's Ball but I thought that Nicole was great in The Hours. It was way more than a prosthetic nose that made the part for me but I still don't think it was a deserved Oscar because her part was really a Supporting role. Way too small to deserve an Oscar for it.

I think her best performance was in To Die For. She wasn't plastic then and she just nailed that part. Amazingly good. Totally deserving Oscar nom and I can't remember who won that year but I wouldn't have minded if she won. Joaquin Phoenix was awesome in that movie too.

Last movie I saw was Up. Loved it. Cried my eyes out in some parts. Just loved it.

^^Well, I hated her character in Margot at the Wedding but Nicole nailed that bitch, but good.

Breaker Morant. I've seen it before, and really liked it. TCM showed it yesterday afternoon.

Two classic interchanges in the film:

As Handcock and Morant hear the carpenters outside the prison building their coffins. Handcock says "You'd think they could at least measure us for those first", Morant replies "I'm sure they don't get too many complaints."

When they come to execute them the chaplain asks their religious affiliation. "Pagan." replies Morant. "What's a pagan?" asks Handcock. Morant replies, "Well, it's somebody who doesn't believe there's a divine being dispensing justice to mankind." Handcock nods and says to the chaplain, "I'm a pagan too."

I was just talking about The Informant with some friends last night after the Mayweather fight. We were weighing whether it was worth seeing or not. I think I've got my answer now. Wait for cable.

Meh...I prefer to have horror movies actually be scary but like I said it was still pretty good. Anyways I switched up the genre a little bit and just finished watching "The Dream Team" with Michael Keaton and Christopher Lloyd...good movie.

The Aviator - DVD. DiCaprio couldn't have been more wrong for the part of Hughes,
despite his considerable talent. All in all an overrated movie, more of a charicature
    than a biopic.

He was very uneven in that movie. Kate Beckinsale as Ava Gardner? HA! She couldn't change Ava's maxi-pads!

    The Survivor's Club

Now if that's not a Lifetime Movie Network movie title, then I don't know what is!
