Body of Lies. It was alright. Not worth re-watching though.

Swing Vote: Comedy/drama about a drunk/loser who has to cast the deciding vote in a presidential race. The premise was a little far-fetched, but it was a decent movie. Kevin Costner couldn't handle the comedy aspect, but did well with the drama.

Lakeview Terrace: Decent B-movie-style thriller where Samuel L. Jackson plays a crazy/bigoted cop who terrorizes the interracial couple that moves in next-door to him. Some 'serious' parts were unintentionally funny.

Black Irish: Drama about in a working class Irish family in Boston that's falling apart. Bad marriage, pregnancy, and a failed run to become a priest are just a few of the things.

Stepbrothers: Decent movie. Had some potential with better writing and directing. And what casting director thought it was a good idea to cast Mary Steenburgen as Will Ferrell's mother?

"Seven Pounds"... it was a good movie. The plot keeps you guessing.. the occasional flash back and fast forward don't make much sense until the end, but it was enjoyable to follow. Will was great in this.

Green Dolphin Street. Great earthquake sequence, and Lana Turner goes into labor right in the middle of it.

Natural Born Killers last night and The Notorious Bettie Page this afternoon.

NBK gave me a headache (again) but I have to admit it is weirdly fascinating.

I think TNBP could have been a lot better.

The Year of Living Dangerously. It's on Encore right now. I love this movie. Mel had some talent and taste at one time.

    Funny People.

... not funny. 30 mins too long. Ending is trite and hollywood.

Sandler should do more dramatic work, he's pretty good at it.

Seth Rogen should do less, he's not good at it.

The fat kid needs to stop being anything where he isn't being mocked anytime he's onscreen.

    Birthday Girl w/Nicole Kidman..

Was half asleep and truly didn't understand it. Kinda fucked up. Anyone else ever seen this?

Ranks up there w/Eyes Wide Shut. I have no fucking clue what the hell is going on in that movie. Like at all.
Hmmm...a trend, both Kidman movies. Gee.

Family Plot: Hitchcock meets the 70s. Very uncomfortable.
