watched 'eagle vs. shark' with a couple of friends who'd never seen it. it's sweet and funny and endearing and god i just love jemaine clement. definitely not for everyone though. one friend thought it was hilarious, the other one was looking at us like we were retarded and wondered couldn't understand what was so funny.
it's been compared to 'napoleon dynamite' but personally i think it's better.

i used to LOVE that when i was a kid. i'm tempted to see it again but at the same time i want to remember it as the wonderful movie i thought it was when i was a kid, and not ruin it with my hyper-critical, jaded, adult eyes...

We Own The Night: Really good drama/cop movie. I thought it was going to be a cheesy version of The Departed, but it wasn't. Of course Mark Wahlberg basically played the same character in both movies.

Joaquin Pheonix turned in a good performance, and Eva Mendez didn't have enough to do, but she looked good anyway.

Taken. I really liked it and hubby stayed awake until the end. That's rare for him so he obviously liked it!

Was cute. Bradley Cooper's eyes scare the shit out of me, though.

Mel, did you ever get around to watching it?
I did watch it. Watched it with my youngest brother and discussed how absolutely fucking nuts women are. It's not something I'd buy to watch over and over, but entertaining for a once through. Seriously though, made me want to slap some women I know.

Absolutely hilarious...I was laughing so hard throughout the entire movie that I practically cried my make up off and probably burned 100 calories!

It's definitely going to be an even bigger hit once word gets out even more.

All of the guys are great- especially Zach Galifinakis!

Which he's been around for awhile but hopefully this will actually put him on the radar!

Oh and...nothing out of the ordinary but this makes me love Bradley Cooper even more. Nothing sexier than a sexy man who's funny.
The Hangover is trying to lure me into a theater... we'll see.

Incendiary was actually decent. Michelle is amazing and Ewan is kinda blah, good to look at tho. Haha. I didn't know it was that heavy. Imagine me watching that after Role Models. Whoa.

They should've canned all the female characters (along with the cheezy SFX) and just made the movie into a gay softporn-like film. Gay hot schoolboy wizards and more shots of the guys in the locker room would've made that movie not suck as much.

It actually gets better with each successive viewing. I love that movie.

Village of the Damned (1960s version). I surely missed the point of this film...
