Just came across I'm gonna Git you Sucka. Another favorite of mine despite Jim Brown being in it.

Trainwreck. Disappointed, I thought it would be funnier.

Jim Brown is a serious misogynist...he could make a career out of it. But so hot in 100 Rifles.

In terms of athletic performance, my dad talked glowingly about this guy from the time I was a little kid. He mentioned that Brown always got off the ground slowly after a tackle, whether he was hurt or not, so that the defense would never know how we would perform on the next play. If he had played his career all the way through, his rushing record would still be near the top.

Wedding Ringer with Kevin Hart. Not too bad, the ending was decent. Loved seeing Joe Namath and Too Tall Jones in the football scene.

Sinister 2. I enjoyed it. Not as good as the first but still not bad.

Inside Out with the kids. I normally am not a fan of animations but this one was good. Probably because kids are going to puberty and their emotions are all over the place.

When we were young. Not for me. Although I could 'recognize' people I know.

French Kiss. It had been years since I'd seen it and I've been thinking lately about how much I loved it. By some kind of miracle I came across it last night before it started so I didn't know how fast to hit record. Just as delightful as I remembered. I love me some Kevin Kline.

"Stir Crazy" - directed by Sidney Poitier and starring Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. They play two guys who get framed for a bank robbery and then try to break out of prison.

I had kind of forgotten how funny it was. My son was TOTALLY into the movie and wouldn't let me put him to bed until it was over. I had forgotten it had a very unrealistic ending.

Anyway, there was an interesting character in the movie - Grossberger. He is a scary, humongous mass murderer that Wilder and Pryor befriend. I looked up the actor who played him (Erland van Lidth), and this guy was really something else:

    MIT graduate with two degrees
    Opera singer
    Olympic wrestler
Ran his own IT company while acting
    Taught IT classes in NY.
Had a full head of hair, but was usually required to shave it for his roles
Unfortunately, he died in his thirties.

This is him below left, with Richard Pryor. The other shot is him in another great movie, called "The Wanderers".

Straight Outta Compton. A long movie, but I enjoyed all of it.
