One of Wes Craven's first movies. Extremely graphic. From 1972 so music and such is dated but it will still disturb you.

Yeah, the original is very disturbing (at least to me). Especially the times it was made in. There is forced lesbian action, several rapes, graphic murder, just all around torture....there is a major plot point that is different in the second (as far as I heard) that to me, sounds like it sucks. I think the producers wanted this time around to make it a bit less depressing, maybe have some hope to it. The first one was just really, really bleak, but I think thats what made it kind of original. The original was FAR from a masterpiece though, some parts were just absurd.

I read the book and it will freak you the fuck out.

Madagascar 2. Loved it. Way better than the first one, IMO.

I was a V.C. Andrews Fantard!! I've read a shitload of those books & yeah - The Dollanganger series was always the most disturbing. Though, she did seem to always be able to work some incest into her story lines....

I liked Madagascar 2 too! I love King Julien (Sasha Baron Cohen) and Melman (David Shwimmer)... but the penguins are my favorites!

Someone above mentioned having seen Metropolis. I read a while ago that they found the famous 'lost' footage in an Argentinian museum. Hopefully we'll soon get a chance to see the fully restored version.

It was me . Interesting info, thanks

I loved those books too but I always thought I would have clubbed my bitch mother in the head within two days and got the hell out.

I always wondered if she wrote from personal experience.

And I just found out today that Borat voiced Julien, who by far is the funniest character in the movie Kudos!

I was hoping someone would make a remake of Flowers in the Attic because the one they made sucked hard. The acting was rather bleh and combined the books for the movie but they just left too much out.

The Game with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn.

I may be the odd person out here at GR, but I really like Michael Douglas.

RockNRolla - Typical Guy Richie movie, but I like his movies so I really enjoyed it.

Plus, looking at Gerard Butler for 2 hours can't be that bad.

I Am Legend - Borefest and I could barely finish watching it again. Basically anything with Will Smith is becoming as an annoyance.
