We watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist over the weekend and I loved, loved, loved it. It was one of the few movies that I wanted to watch again as soon as it was finished. I don't know if it was my mood or what, but I just enjoyed it so much.
I really want to see that, just waiting for it to be OnDemand - glad to hear it was good!
Saw Mamma Mia finally - very cute! Cemented my massive crush on Colin Firth, and hi - does Pierce Brosnan ever age??? He's still gorgeous as ever! Amanda Seyfried has an amazing voice

    The Unseen

Never heard of it before, but caught it over the weekend on cable and was very impressed! It stars Gale Harold and has a little bit of a Sling Blade feel to it. I wanna own it.

Goya's Ghosts. Slow, but a powerful story and a stellar cast.

Taken - A MUST watch. I will never look at Liam Neeson the same. Great flick!

Love Christmas Vacation. I know I'm a terrible parent but my son and I bought the box set with all the "Vacation" movies & we laugh our asses off. Of course, my son's hero is now "Homey D. Clown" thanks to me introducing him to In Living Color...

I watched Prayers for Bobby again and that movie is really good. I saw it on Lifetime and here's an article: Prayers for Bobby | Oasis Journals

Bad parent? You sound like a cool parent buying the 'Vacation' movies and introducing him to In Living Color. I miss that show, Homey D. Clown, Fire Marshal Bill, Men On Films, Cephus and Reesus, etc.

we saw taken last night. it was okay, actually good, but there was nothing special about it. it's the kind of story that's been done many times before.

He's Just Not That Into You **** - I definitely did not go into the movie theater with high expectations but I thought it was really good for a romantic comedy[I'm not really into those]. Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin did the best job imo.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me- They might as well have not even made this movie. It doesn't answer anything important that was left hanging by the series, if anything it leaves more questions.

the wrestler - my heart bled. mickey rourke was fantastic, marisa tomei beautiful und great and darren aronofsky is my (new) director hero. both requiem for a dream and the wrestler make me feel uneasy. it is not just entertainment, it makes you (or at least me) think. there is no sugarcoating whatsoever.

RocknRolla- weak plot, undeveloped characters, lacks humor... Snatch was better.

Vicky Christina Barcelona-It's kind of predictable, not at all memorable.

Emma CLICK ON TITLE FOR IMDB PAGE.

This was awful; really let down by a poor script. The dialogue IMO was stilted and didn’t seem natural. The clothes were good, but the cinematographer should be shot. I don’t understand why everything needed to be shot in soft focus. As a result the film looked fake. The only time anything looked natural was when they shot outside.

However the acting was good…apart from Gwyneth Paltrow who was badly miscast

I just saw The promotion and The departed.

The promotion, (John C Reilly and Sean William Scott) was ok. Funny at times but not great.

The Departed I saw for the third time, still great. Quite the cast in this one..
