hanging head.. I guess it was just us, we hated it and left but I've seen quite a few people say they liked it. Maybe our screen was showing something different???

I watched Diary of a Mad Black Woman last night at 3 AM because it was the only thing on. Honestly, it was disturbing. I didn't mind watching it, it passed the time at first. But when she starts abusing him when he is in his wheelchair, I about turned it off. I cannot handle watching physically handicapped people being abused, it turns my stomach. I don't care what a huge asshole he was. It really demeaned her whole character, up until that point I had been sympathetic because he was such an asshole, and after that I just felt like she was a sadistic bitch. When she first slaps him after he yells at her and she tells him "that Helen is gone", I was applauding her. Then she keeps abusing him, later tells him he stinks and throws him in the bathtub head-first to almost drown, doesn't feed him and denies him food, telling him to get up and get it himself (he's paralyzed)....yeah, it was just too much for me.

Taking Lives. I was watching on and off between bouts of zapping. Kept seeing scenes of Ethan Hawke beating up Angelina Jolie every time I returned to it. My kind of movie! Pity I was too sleepy to watch the whole thing.

Oh and Olivier Martinez has a horrible accent in English!

Wow, I heard about that movie but didn't know all that was going on. Guess he drove her crazy. I knew a woman whose husband abused her, he was he was in a wheel chair, such ugly things were being said. She was having such a hard time dealing with it, it was ugly.

Four Christmases. It was okay. maybe I was imagining it, but I thought I could see the dislike Reese had for Vince. She didn't seem as spontaneous or something. I would have rented it though. It's definitely a rental movie.

Some of my friends have seen Australia and raved about it. Three hours though? Ugh I don't think I can do it.

Quantum of Solace. At last. A bit boring but better than I expected. A friend had said that the only good thing about that movie for her had been the nachos.

Step Brothers- It was alright. Funny, but nothing special.

Recount- Good. I got pissed through out the movie though.

I bought the new X-Files movie released Tuesday.

*sigh* I loved that show. LOVED it! And it was great to watch those characters again in a movie, but the magic isn't there anymore. A lot of what was so great about it was all the unresolved romantic tension between Mulder and Scully. You wanted them together, but now that they are, all the "do they? don't they? will they? won't they?" magic has dissipated.

Me too! I've watched all of them dozens of times. I get drunk just watching Nick drink like a fish. Love it!

One of my closest friends watched it with me, and having never seen it before, he was like, "Uh, so is he tipsy the entire movie?"

    At least!

'Them!' It's a cheesy horror movie about giant ants, but I've always liked it for some reason.
