To Die For- I really liked it. Nicole Kidman was gorgeous and could act back in the day. Now she's nothing but plastic face while whispering her lines with no expression.

Captains Courageous (1937) It was really good, even if it required a bit of pushing past the trite acting style of child acting of the day. It was the style at the time, so endurable when you get used to it.

I cried buckets at the end. So sad and sweet.

Oh, and I loved To Die For...especially Illyana Douglas in the very last scene

Spielberg's version of "War of the Worlds"....

Couldn't detect a storyline there AT ALL. It was all special effects,
running, fighting, screaming, hiding, more running, more special effects.

What a humongous waste of money!

I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry: Funnier than I thought it would be.

Fled: starring Laurence Fishburne and Steven Baldwin. Still a good 'buddy' movie.

And to cap it off, Tom Cruise is in it. God, I hated that movie.

And Dakota Fanning's CONSTANT screaming made me wish the aliens would've just got rid of her.

The Black Dahlia. What a piece of shit! I try to find the good in movies, but this was just impossible. Josh Hartnett has a nice arse which he flashes for about 2 seconds. And Mia Kirschner is absolutely stunning. Thats all.

    Ghost Town

Ricky Gervais, Greg Kinnear, Tea Leoni

Not a bad little movie, as long as you're not expecting hilarity. It's not that funny, quite sad actually. I appreciate Ricky Gervais' sense of humor, very understated, not over the top or slapstick. Greg Kinnear is his usual obnoxious character, and Tea Leoni is sweet and "normal".

Sister nearly fell asleep, couldn't keep up with Ricky's quick dialog/accent.

Yeah, RG, I dedicated an entire thread last year to how bad Black Dahlia was. It was THAT bad,

That's probably one of my favorite Eddie Murphy movies. The last decent movie Eddie made was probably I-Spy with Owen Wilson.

    Edit:

Just watched Dead Silence. The movie was okay for a horror movie. But the ending made no sense.
