    I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Beyond The Sea; loved it!!! Kevin Spacey is just amazing, and Kate Bosworth was so perfectly cast as Sandra Dee. I'm still singing all the songs from it.

Into the Wild. A little bit too long but Sean Penn's direction and Emile Hirsch's performance were powerful. Definitely worth seeing. I read the book awhile ago but I think the movie is better.

Even though it was over the top, Snakes on a Plane was terrifying to me. Being trapped in a small space with even just one snake is one of the most frightening things I can imagine.

Cloverfield- I liked it. Got a bit sick from the filming, but it wasn't as bad as I expected.

I've been watching Arrested Devlopment on DVD more then movies. Cannot get enough.

The Kite Runner. And I HIGHLY recommend it. To be honest, most movies don't move me enough to cry. I said I shed a few tears in PS I Love You in one scene, but truthfully I just misted up. I very rarely every actually cry. This movie had me sobbing, just weeping. I haven't been so moved by a movie before. The acting was phenomenal, both by the actors who played Baba and the young Hassan specifically. Do NOT watch this if you want a light movie, this stayed with me for hours afterwards. But I was so moved by it, I really want to share it with you.

    Spoilers in white:

I teared up a bit during some parts, like when Hassan has to serve Assef drinks after he's been raped, and when Hassan lies and says he was the one who stole the watch. Also when Amir keeps hitting him with the fruit and telling him to hit back, and instead Hassan takes the fruit and smashes it into his own face. But what made me weep were the following parts: when Amir's father stopped the woman from getting raped and said he would sacrifice himself before he could see that happen, and later the woman's husband kissed his hands, sobbing and thanking him. Later when Amir reads the letter from Hassan after he died, and it discusses the Afghanistan of their childhood, of flying kites and playing. And then at the end, first when Hassan's child says he feels so "dirty" and then Amir tells him when he chases the kite, "for you, a million times over." Also, when the man at the orphanage tells him not to judge him when he sells a child because if he didn't, they would take ten. That was such a powerful scene. I think the character of Hassan as a child was such an amazing person, just the perfect epitome of dignity and loyalty.

It was such a beautiful, moving movie.

This tells me I must go see it, cause that sounds like my idea of a good time!

Oh Shalev, whyyyyyyy???? This makes me sad for you!

Saw Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay. Pretty funny, light fare with standard gross-out humor that I enjoyed because it didn't go too over the top. Or maybe because I was expecting it, being a Harold & Kumar movie. Neil Patrick Harris playing himself in all his debauched, cracked-out glory was fantastic, I loved it!

    Black Snake Moan.

That was one confused movie.. it didn't know wtf it was trying to be. Sam Jackson singing trhe blues also seemed fake as hell. Timbergerbil's squeaky voice annoyed me. Most of the accents came and went.

    Forgettable.
