Fatal Attraction is a truly great movie. Did Glenn Close win ANYTHING for that role? She should have.
I just watched 'Finding Nemo' for the first time this weekend. That, is a hilarious film. I think so---even for adults. I really thought they were able to make even little things funny. I really liked it....and was shooshing my 4 yr old because I wanted to hear and watch it.

As for the sex/nudity, sure it's extremely realistic, but it really as big a deal as everyone makes it to be. Oh, and that first sex scene? It's hilarious.

i loved lust, caution but i still prefer brokeback. i agree with you about that first rapey scene though. i just burst out laughing after a while. i think a couple of people in the theatre thought i was mad. i don't think they got the same impression from it as i did.

It was one of the absolute worst films I have ever seen. It's called Quelques jours en Septembre (September Days in English, I think) and it's about a conspiracy plot leading to Sept. 11 and how this american spy guy knows about it but does nothing because he wants a lot of money for his kids that he abandoned. Kids are his fugly French daughter who's anti-american to the extreme and his dumb American stepson who ends up getting together with the daughter (I freaked because I hadn't gotten the stepson part and thought they were blood brother and sister). The movie is a waste of money and acting talent. Nick Nolte is bloated and ridiculous as the spy dad, Juliette Binoche gives a solid performance but the film is an abomination and I would rather she wasn't in it. Same with John Turturro who I love but who gives one of the worst performances of his life, here. Nothing at all is believable about it. Seriously, the movie is so downright offensive (and I'm not even American) that I wanted to throw stuff at the TV. I kinda spoilt it here but trust me, you don't want to see it. It STINKS.
Before that I had caught on tv, Angels and Insects. Powerful performances, great direction and hot sex scenes. It's definitely a favourite. I don't want to say more not to give anything away.

LOL, Sputnik. I think the subject has been chasing me the past few days. Just as long as it stays on tv and movies and I don't witness any ever again.

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment => quite funnier than the first one, which was, in my opinion, disappointing, despite Pat Proft's involvment. Watch it only if you like dumb comedies, but you already know that.

Along Came Polly, and my Mum has this obsession with Jennifer Aniston that terrifies me.
"She's so pretty"
"I think she's a good actress"
"Whats wrong with her chin? It suits her".
"I like her".
"She's gorgeous".
"I love her dress"
ARGGHH!!

I watched Swing Kids last night. Yeah, yeah I know I've been re-watching my movies with Christian Bale this week.

American Ganster- Very good. Satisfied my love for ganster films.
American Pie: Beta House- Bad, bad, bad, bad. Tried way to hard to be as funny as the first 3 and was a cheap rip off of Animal House in some ways.
Good Luck Chuck- Very meh. Nothing I was cringing to while watching, but nothing I would care to watch again.

Cloverfield
No character development, unless the lame-@ss party at the begining counts. Neat graphics, VERY intense, 2.5 to 3 stars outta 5.

I love that movie!!! It's sad and so good.
We rented Zodiac (didn't catch it in the theaters). I thought it was a really good movie. Also rented King of California ( Michael Douglas, Evan RAchel Wood). Thought it sucked.

That last scene has me balling my eyes out everytime. I love it too. It had been ages since I'd watched it.
