Was that the Jessica Simpson one? Because I recommend the Matt Dillon one (same name).
My brother brought Employee of the Month home and i thought no way am i watching jessica simpson try to act, but then i was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't that particular employee of the month. The matt dillon one is fantastic, with a twist you could never see coming.
Isn't employee of the month about a 'perfect' girl who becomes imperfect when she reveals her large ears?

I think The Departed is probably a good movie to people who may not be familiar with Scorsese's earlier work. It doesn't even match up to Casino, IMO.
It's not a bad movie, it's just not very good considering the director and the awards and hype it's gotten.

I saw the Messengers a few weeks ago. It was your typical spiritual thriller so **.
We saw Zodiac this weekend. It was really interesting. Mark Ruffalo was great. Jake was ok. Chole gives me the willies. Still I'd give it ***1/2.

Yes, it's the one with Jessica Simpson. She doesn't say much in the movie, actually. The movie is based around Dane Cook and Dax Sheppard's characters. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and it had some slightly funny scenes in the movie (Shockingly enough, I thought Andy Dick was really funny and I normally can't stand to watch him at all)
I have a thing for Dane Cook, so that made it easier to watch the movie

Just watched A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, it was pretty damn good. Robert Downey Jr is always phenomenal, but I tell you, I was very very impressed by Channing Tatum and Shia LeBoeuf. Honestly, it's worth watching if only just to see their performances.

Hi DeChayz, I just looked that up. A lot of great actors in that film. I really like RD Jr. Thanks for the tip, this one totally got by me.

No problem, he's the reason I wanted to watch it too, I absolutely adore the man You know, I don't think the movie was ever in wide release, so it didn't get much publicity. I actually can't remember how I even heard of it lol

You know the only way I get recommendations is at places like this... if I go to the video/DVD store, there's so much garbage there I can't wade through it. I've got it on my list!

My boyfriend and I are going to see this tonight. I am hoping it will be one of the few movies that we can both enjoy!!
I watched Gone with the Wind the other day for the first time while I was taking care of my sick BF (the only reason I had the time/patience to sit through the entire thing... he wouldn't let me leave his side) and I liked it. I was disappointed with the ending though!

I saw "Black Snake Moan" this weekend, and thought it was entertaining. Both Christina Ricci and Sam Jackson did great jobs in their parts. CR plays white trash like there's "no tomorrow", and SLJ actually plays the guitar and sings the blues. It's not for everyone tho, a little disturbing.
