I'm watching that, too. Hard to believe it was thought of as a flop for years after it came out.

Vacancy - it was alright. Pretty intense.

I never knew how much Luke Wilson sounds like Owen.

I liked Vacancy. I rented it along with the John Cusack haunted hotel room movie [can't remember the title]. The Cusack movie was the one I really wanted to see, but I ended up liking Vacancy more.

Last night, my daughter and I watched three movies back to back: You've Got Mail, Sleepless In Seattle, and Failure To Launch.

1408 is the Cusack movie. I liked that one. I'll have to check out Vacancy if that one is better.

Last movie I watched was the 24 hour marathon of The Christmas Story. Don't know why I never get sick of that one.

Yeah, I pretty much kept The Christmas Story marathon running for a good part of the day. Hard to get tired of that movie.

Notes on a Scandal. Also It's a Wonderful Life, the original Scrooge with Alistair Sims and The Black Book. All excellent films.

It's Johnny Depp week at my house. Tonight was The Astronaut's Wife. Feh. I hate science fiction, Contact, Alien type of movies. Depp was wasted on this one. He seemed to walk through it as there was nothing for him to do. Charlize can emote, but she's not interesting enough for me.

Tomorrow night is Sleepy Hollow.

Next week is Jeremy Irons week. He's made a lot of interesting films that I've never seen.
